“So, I love music and I've signed my kids up for several different music classes in the past only to be disappointed. Too often it seemed like the teacher only had a moderate grasp of musical concepts, they would color some music notes shake some egg shakers and sing a few songs and that was it. Then some piano teacher friends recommended "Let's Play Music" classes from Maura Brewer, and I reluctantly signed up. I was completely blown away. The class is set up with clear expectations and rules to keep things orderly and fun. It is designed to set kids up for success, nothing requires their attention span to be longer than a few minutes. And I haven't even started on the actual content! It is brilliant. Every song, every movement, every direction so deliberate and tied to high level music theory and music intuition.
