“This church is a warm and welcoming place where the congregation truly steps up to help others within their church family, as well as those in the general community. Pastor Chris is very kind, and definitely sets a positive vibe. They alternate between a choir (they have hymnals available and that is always a good thing!), and a 'worship team', at least in the service I attended. This is a church that would be good for anyone, especially families. (Disclaimer: I am familiar with Cascade Pres because the Junior Symphony of Vancouver is in residence there. Pastor Chris always gives a few words of introduction at those concerts, and we were all impressed with him and so that is why I wanted to attend some services when my schedule allowed.)”

Huge cars show, huge light the night celebration, amazing plays, golf tournament, big youth program., small groups , celebrate recovery, missions, local out reach and much more... If you are wondering, this is the home church for Bow the Knee , the Easter Story. I have added a few photos of the Christmas play. “Depending on your Christian beliefs then this could either be really awesome or not so great. But for me it is a wonderful spot for a christian family because you have lots of options like church camps, youth group and good religious friends for your kiddos. The parents have a wonderful opportunity for life groups, serving the church in many different ways, and you can also watch the sevice online at home using YouTube. It has a great giving system, it is really good connecting with people at the church and getting to know them well, and it is just such a blessing to have a place like this where you can feel safe and supported and know that these people are here to help you on your journey with God. And God is number one in our lifes so we need to be diligently going to a church to help us learn more about who our savior is.”

I have found both services, the early morning traditional service and the 2nd less formal service, equally enjoyable, instructive and comfortable to attend. The music is top notch and there are multiple opportunities to grow through participation and service if you are interested in getting to know the folks there a little better. I invite everyone who is looking to deepen their spirituality with a friendly, nurturing and active congregation to visit Good Shepherd Episcopal. “Wayfare has made my life feel very safe and secure. I had issues with rats having moved under my home and the thought of it made me feel very scared. I didn't know where to turn. My son and his wife are long time customers of Wayfare and they referred me to them. I was never so happy as I was when they arrived the first time The issue was resolved mostly that day and over the next two weeks and follow up visits to make sure all was going well, the issue is now over. I set up quarterly visits and they keep my home free of all rodents and also annoying bugs. I am so happy to know they are keeping my home safe for me. And it is effortless on my part.”

“I moved here from San Jose and was looking for a christian church in the Vancouver area that I could relate too. It was hard. I went to about 5 different churches before I found City Bible Church. I love this church. My family loves this church. They have a true grasp of what it means to be a church community and embrace the people involved . The connect groups are great. My wife and I have two boys and we go to e Family Connect group. It's great. We have met some strong family units with a great tie in unity and a strong belief in God. Moving from San Jose was hard since we lived there all of our lives. When we found CBC it made it that much easier to settle in. Some of the people we met have grown into strong friendships. “It is a great church with a wonderful pastor who teaches from the word of God . The people are very loving and kind, they are always willing to help when there is need. We have a mixed congregation both of Caucasian, Filipino, and other nationality members. We have an active Sunday School for all ages. We have a potluck every month with plenty of food for everyone and it's a time of Fellowship and getting to know one another better. We are a mission minded church and we support missions all over the world. We have a Vacation Bible School every July and this year we are blessed to have 2 young Missionary Students who have come up from Texas to help us with our Vacation Bible School. I pray that you will come and join us on Sunday at 10:50 am for our morning worship service.”

“I came here on a Sunday morning for the Sunday service after reading about this place on Google. I actually was surprised because I was greeted right at the door and they had somebody direct me to the English service which is really nice and I thought welcomes right away because I had just moved to the area and actually didn’t know anyone. The service itself wasn’t super full but the people there were all very nice and they had a guest speaker because a pastor actually is being scouted right now. they had a nice worship session before the service and then after the service there was Sunday school where people discussed the sermon. It was really nice because I also got free lunch since it was my first time and got to sit and talk to some of the folks here. Overall I would probably come back again and get another people here more because it’s nice to have an Asian community in Vancouver.”
