“I've been delinquent in waiting so long to post this review. Guy and his crew at APE Painting did a fabulous job painting the interior of our 3,300 sq ft home in Ridgefield, WA. Guy, the owner of APE Painting picks up his phone when you call and communicates very well. He's very pleasant to deal with he stands by his work. After coming in to do a few touch ups he said "please let us know if there's anything else you need touched up." Everyone that has seen our house since it was painted has commented on the quality work and attention to detail. APE is not the cheapest painter but for quality work with attention to detail I would absolutely recommend APE. (Our HOA in Mt Vista also recommends APE and Guy has done over a dozen homes in our neighborhood in the last few years. The exterior paint jobs he does are beautiful.)”

“I am extremely pleased with the exterior work done on my home! The work is beautiful and I know it has improved the value of my investment tremendously. I can’t say enough about the quality and timeliness of the work. Brandon and Israel made sure I was involved in the project and informed of everything all along the way. I feel like they were highly invested in the project and took personal care to ensure no detail was overlooked. Despite the excellent communication, there weren’t any delays related to over-neediness in getting the work done, as I’ve had with prior contractors who failed to initiate tasks because they needed obsessive validation for each item on the checklist. Clearly, this was not the company’s first project and the experienced professionalism showed. The team arrived ready to work; no one hung out in the yard slacking off or took extended breaks. They arrived ready and with great attitudes throughout. They were efficient, thorough, and clean. I don’t feel like they cut corners and they left everything as good or better than they found it. I know that Cutting Edge is busy with many jobs but my house always felt like a priority. The crew referred to me by name and because it was the same crew throughout, I felt like I got to know them a little. Everyone was respectful, kind, and courteous. I honestly couldn’t say one negative thing about anyone on the crew. I would definitely call them again for future projects.”

“We chose Vulcan for three major projects on our house: a total front deck rebuild/redesign, full exterior paint job, and a siding repair/waterproofing protect. We're very satisfied with all three projects. We did get several bids for all the projects and Vulcan was mostly in the middle when it comes to price. What made us feel comfortable paying a little more originally was the fact that the company has a design department that came out and helped us visualize a re-engineering of our front deck that was poorly built by the ordinal home builder. The designs included 3D renderings and it was just clear that we were working with a professional building company as opposed to an independent general contractor. With three major projects, spread out over the course of several months, we ended up having things that needed to be tweaked from the original plan, some unexpected issues that weren't obvious until the crews tore into things, and various other audibles that needed to be called. Throughout all of it, the company was just fantastic with communication. I never ever felt like I was being fleeced in any way when something popped up, and I always had a single point person who was able to work with me to keep things moving along. One thing that I really appreciated was the company's end-of-job walk through process. If I had an issue with something, even after the final walk around, they would send someone out to fix it without any trouble whatsoever. That's not to say there were lots of issues, we just had several major projects going on at once. I would definitely recommend Vulcan. Professional, clean, respectful, and just filled with people who clearly care about what they do. A+”
