Love this little lake for my little guy!
It’s awesome to take him fishing and/or build sand castles and then take a little trip to the playground.
It’s been one of our favorite spots since we moved here a couple months ago. Park is very clean, potty’s are not terribly gross for porta-John’s and it’s a beautiful little area.
They’ve got life vests kids can use when they’re down near the lake, I thought that was pretty awesome (just keep mind of the yellow jackets and shake out the life vests before putting them on).
There’s also a large area for dogs to walk and play as well, with great humored signs 😉
It really a perfect little spot for all ages, especially little ones.
It’s a lovely park with a playground, bathrooms and even horseshoe pits (bring your own shoes).
The baby swings have been missing for a few months and the drinking fountain in the park has been plugged for a while as well. Besides that it’s quite nice, easily accessible, and a great place to make memories.
Liked it a lot. Boat ramp for non motorized boats. Cool water that's mostly clean. Not freezing! Great for a swim for kids, of which there were many on warm days as today (84⁰). Was slightly windy but great to kayak around.
Great spot for kayaking and SUPs. Big enough to explore a bit around the bend, small enough to never get lost or ever get too far from shore. During the Summer months they have a really affordable kayak and stand up paddle boarding rental service put on by a local group of volunteer dads and their kids. It’s called Paddle Worthy (paddleworthy.com).
Great park! We stopped in on a rainy day - so the park was empty, but it’s awesome! Great views, fun playground. We didn’t get in the water but I was impressed with the life jackets they have for anyone to use.
