Dash Point State Park

Tucked away from the highways is a forested area near hiking trails and the sound of campers at picnic areas.

Well kept higher elevation hiking trails, wooden crate steps, nice views of the pebbled beach.

Been here a couple of times. The water is usually out quite a ways, which allows for lots of sand and streams and digging for sea creatures! You do have to pay for parking, but there is usually always a spot to park when we go. Not a lot of area for setting up on the grass, especially when it's busy, but I saw a lot of people setting up on the sand! Water was surprisingly pretty warm when we went, but it was also a very hot day!

Beautifully spaced out between other campers. Showers and restrooms clean during our stay. Well maintained trails. No trash laying around 👍. Drive or walk to the beach is awesome 😎

Went camping at the beautiful park! Bigger than you might think, and popular during the summer! Books fast before the season starts so plan ahead. Lots of spaces, nice size to fit all sorts of sized tents. Various camping options, some with electrical hookups, some cabins, bathrooms with showers available as well!
Close to grocery market if needed and neighborhood so not entirely remote, although cell service is almost non-existent.

It's beautiful out here! The drive to the parking areas includes trees lining the roads. Some of the trails are fairly challenging, but the views are incredible. The bit we've seen so far was well-kept with no litter in sight (including the beach!) and we're going to make the beach here our main place to go this summer. It totally makes the Discover Pass more than worth it for this state park alone!
