Hockinson Meadows Community Park

Address: PF3X+5P, 10910 NE 172nd Ave, Vancouver, WA 98682, USA

Park

“This 240-acre, very well  maintained community park is awesome! Seriously, there is something for all ages and interests! I am most definitely coming back within a couple of months when all the trees are full of leaves because there is no doubt that the walking trails that go into the conservation habitat areas will look like a very heavily wooded forest! Soooo beautiful!!! 🥰 There are 2 softball fields, 5 baseball fields, a huge soccer field, a cool playground that has all the classics and more, an off leash dog park, a covered picnic shelter in excellent condition, benches throughout the park, open green spaces, a disc golf course, paved walking trails, dirt walking trails in the more heavily wooded areas, restrooms, and plenty of parking. ✨️ This park rocks, and I highly recommend it!! 👍🏼”

Madrona Park

Address: 853 Lake Washington Blvd, Seattle, WA 98122, USA

Park

“We took a drive towards Lake Washington after an appointment at Harborview and eventually discovered this gem of a park! We came across this fun park during lunchtime and there were many people enjoying the hot sunny day. There were several people swimming and we counted a total of 5 lifeguards, so that was nice. In years past we lived in the Bellevue area and if we had known about this wonderful beach, we would have come and had some fun beach days!”

Masonic Park

Campground Lodging Park Rv park

“There is a hush that falls over you as you pass through the gates, under the watchful evergreens that have stood guard longer than we have measured time. The kind of hush that makes you breathe deep, letting the scent of cedar and moss settle your spirit. Here, every campsite feels like a sanctuary: spacious, with gazebos and power, ready for early morning coffee as the light breaks through the branches. The towering trees form a cathedral of green, reminding you that nature’s architecture needs no improvement. And then, there is the river. Cold, clear, and alive, it winds past the mossy banks, inviting you to step in, to swim, to feel the current sweep away the noise of the world. Children’s laughter rings across the water, joining the gentle hush of the forest like a hymn to summer. But it is not just the beauty of this place that makes it special. It is the quiet nods of recognition around the campfire, the warm greetings from neighbors who are not strangers, but Brothers and Sisters, bound by a thousand threads of fraternity. Here, you know that everyone you pass shares the same commitment to friendship, relief, and truth, whether they wear the Square and Compasses, the Eastern Star, or the gentle reminders of countless fraternal paths. The Masonic Family Park is not merely a campground; it is a gathering place for the Craft and the heart. It is a reminder that, beneath the trees and the star-pinned sky, we are never alone on our journey, and that sometimes the best meetings happen around a campfire, with the river singing softly nearby. It is a place where you arrive as a traveler and leave as part of a family”

Paca Pride Guest Ranch

Address: 28311 Mountain Loop Hwy, Granite Falls, WA 98252, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“David is a wealth of information about farming and alpacas! He is so welcoming. Our kids got up close and personal with alpacas safely with David’s guidance. We rented three of the yurts with two other families and enjoyed this unique stay. One highlight was the hike down to the river, which took 20-30 minutes each way. Soaking our feet in the cold mountain water on a hot day felt divine. We brought things to grill on the communal BBQ and were appreciative of the showers after a day of farm smells on our bods. :) We loved Lila’s Cafe in Granite Falls for coffee, brunch, and ice cream.”

Follow the rules, be respectful of others regardless if you just talking, singing and laughing or smoking. Kindness goes a long way to making all of our lives happier.”

Timber Creek Farm & Forest

Address: 8413 170th Avenue East, Sumner, WA 98390, USA

School Park

“I cannot tell enough great things about this place. It’s magical. It is like the kids’ special place, where they are free and encouraged to be themselves. The kindness and care of Matt and Tinneca is something out of this world and the kids who attend are kind, polite and great friends to my daughter (who had no interest in kids until she started). I wish there were classes for adults (seriously though!) or at least I wish my girl could attend until she’s off to college! To learn and to love nature surrounded by friends and people you trust, that’s the way this place works. It’s a blessing and a gift.”

Tails and Trails Dog Park

Address: 1301 5th St, Mukilteo, WA 98275, USA

Park

“Tails and Trails is part of Mukilteo’s Japanese Gulch. The main dog park is close to the size of a football field! Fully enclosed with log fences, reinforced with metal mesh. There is a “shy dog” area, and walking trails throughout the gulch. Many water bowls and full refill jugs, benches, as well as agility structures for your dog to play or train. The only downside is this park can get VERY muddy so bring boots and a paw wiping towel… or bring your pup on a dry day.”

Carmichael Park

Address: 34700 SE Sorenson St, Snoqualmie, WA 98065, USA

Park

“Carmichael Park is a magnificent park with many athletic facilities. Is located at the foothills of the Cascades and consists a beautiful view of the Cascades. It is a very large park and has a baseball field, a basketball court and a tennis court. Cricket can also be played on the soccer field if there is no one there. Very peaceful and quiet park overall.”

Donkey Creek Park

Address: 8714 N Harborview Dr, Gig Harbor, WA 98332, USA

“This one is a tiny little park located in DT Gig Harbor. The walking trail is small and is a perfect little outing for families with little kids. The trails snake around the Creek. This place is in close proximity to a bunch of restaurants. Do visit if you are in this area.”

Dan Porter Park

Address: 7490 Deer Lake Rd, Clinton, WA 98236, USA

Park

“Stopped by Dan Porter Park so I could take my doggo for a quick walk since she was being so good during my deliveries. I was very surprised to see that they had just finished cleaning up the place. There were 3 huge piles of trash and debris gathered up. They had went into every crack and crevice and Bush in the park and cleaned out EVERYTHING. We took a stroll down a few small paths and it was nice. Not one broken bottle or syringe or anything. I'm thinking they did it for the Easter Egg Hunt so the kiddos will only come back with eggs and not other things they may find while searching. HAPPY EASTER!! 🐰”

Keeney Park

Address: 17203 Northup Way, Bellevue, WA 98008, USA

“Quiet and a perfect place to go if you have a few minutes to walk the paths. Couldn't even tell that it is close to a major thoroughfare. The foggy morning made it even better.”
