“David is a wealth of information about farming and alpacas! He is so welcoming. Our kids got up close and personal with alpacas safely with David’s guidance. We rented three of the yurts with two other families and enjoyed this unique stay. One highlight was the hike down to the river, which took 20-30 minutes each way. Soaking our feet in the cold mountain water on a hot day felt divine. We brought things to grill on the communal BBQ and were appreciative of the showers after a day of farm smells on our bods. :) We loved Lila’s Cafe in Granite Falls for coffee, brunch, and ice cream.”

“This is one of my favorite parks in downtown Bellevue. It is within minutes away from Bellevue Square Mall. Parking is not as roomy as other locations. The view and design of this little park is just beautiful. There is no BBQ grill area, but very nice for picnics and walks. The kids playground is fun pirate ship. Dog friendly park.”

“Decent park, however too close to heavy traffic and not enough play equipment for most kids. Basketball hoops/courts are minimal.”

Address: 1330 N James St, Tacoma, WA 98406, USA
“This is a beautiful park with a decent baseball/kickball field. There are swings and a playground for the little ones. There is also road parking and benches available for sitting. If the field were better kept, it would have been a 5 star rating. Otherwise, this is a solid park and I'll be back for more playing!”

“Great spacious 15 acre park. Great for families DVD individuals. Please pick up after yourself. Garbage is garbage. It's your duty to. Relax in a clean space with so much to offer. Follow the rules, be respectful of others regardless if you just talking, singing and laughing or smoking. Kindness goes a long way to making all of our lives happier.”

“I cannot tell enough great things about this place. It’s magical. It is like the kids’ special place, where they are free and encouraged to be themselves. The kindness and care of Matt and Tinneca is something out of this world and the kids who attend are kind, polite and great friends to my daughter (who had no interest in kids until she started). I wish there were classes for adults (seriously though!) or at least I wish my girl could attend until she’s off to college! To learn and to love nature surrounded by friends and people you trust, that’s the way this place works. It’s a blessing and a gift.”
Address: 1301 5th St, Mukilteo, WA 98275, USA
“Tails and Trails is part of Mukilteo’s Japanese Gulch. The main dog park is close to the size of a football field! Fully enclosed with log fences, reinforced with metal mesh. There is a “shy dog” area, and walking trails throughout the gulch. Many water bowls and full refill jugs, benches, as well as agility structures for your dog to play or train. The only downside is this park can get VERY muddy so bring boots and a paw wiping towel… or bring your pup on a dry day.”

“Carmichael Park is a magnificent park with many athletic facilities. Is located at the foothills of the Cascades and consists a beautiful view of the Cascades. It is a very large park and has a baseball field, a basketball court and a tennis court. Cricket can also be played on the soccer field if there is no one there. Very peaceful and quiet park overall.”
Address: 8714 N Harborview Dr, Gig Harbor, WA 98332, USA
“This one is a tiny little park located in DT Gig Harbor. The walking trail is small and is a perfect little outing for families with little kids. The trails snake around the Creek. This place is in close proximity to a bunch of restaurants. Do visit if you are in this area.”

“Stopped by Dan Porter Park so I could take my doggo for a quick walk since she was being so good during my deliveries. I was very surprised to see that they had just finished cleaning up the place. There were 3 huge piles of trash and debris gathered up. They had went into every crack and crevice and Bush in the park and cleaned out EVERYTHING. We took a stroll down a few small paths and it was nice. Not one broken bottle or syringe or anything. I'm thinking they did it for the Easter Egg Hunt so the kiddos will only come back with eggs and not other things they may find while searching. HAPPY EASTER!! 🐰”

“Quiet and a perfect place to go if you have a few minutes to walk the paths. Couldn't even tell that it is close to a major thoroughfare. The foggy morning made it even better.”

“Playground next to a long walking trail,no bathrooms, a few benches to sit on. Really fun and different innovative climbing parts to the playground, so if you have a child (maybe ages 4-10) who likes to climb this is a great playground.”

“Cady Landing Park, 40 Maple Avenue — Edson Cady, born around 1828, named this place. In the 1950s, the Snohomish Sportsmen Club rigged a rudimentary boat launch for access to the river, improved upon over the years until 2021, when the Pilchuck Julia boat launch was dedicated upstream. It’s a lovely recreation place. The trail was very good”

“Nice military campground on JBLM. There are plenty of spacious sites in a shady forest. Sites with hookups can be reserved and dry sites are available on a first come, first served basis. We stayed at a dry site for a weekend, so the shade trees were nice. Fresh water and a dump station were available on site. The only downside to staying on an Air Force base was getting woken up by aircraft on the nearby airfield! Access is limited since it is on a military base.”
