Tails and Trails is part of Mukilteo’s Japanese Gulch. The main dog park is close to the size of a football field! Fully enclosed with log fences, reinforced with metal mesh. There is a “shy dog” area, and walking trails throughout the gulch. Many water bowls and full refill jugs, benches, as well as agility structures for your dog to play or train. The only downside is this park can get VERY muddy so bring boots and a paw wiping towel… or bring your pup on a dry day.
Nice open area for dogs to run, and a few obstacles for them. We enjoyed the little trail behind it and the trails around but they could use a bit of maintenance is all.
I adore this charming medium size park that is right next to a little hiking trail! I live in Silver Lake and work in Mukilteo, so it’s a close park that immerses you and your dog in nature! Right by the beach/ferry and lots of cute shops and delicious spots! It had a park for small dogs and larger dogs with training equipment and lots of room for dogs to run/sprint/chase their hearts out 🐾
Super muddy today but my dog had a blast and that's what matters. Trails are narrow and slick right now w 1 area washed out recently. I saw a couple people slip and fall so be careful.
