“Wanted to buy fresh Penn Cove mussels and clams to cook at home and was told that Apple Market at Ken's Korner was the place to buy them in Langley. The staff were helpful and friendly, the store looked clean and tidy. Can't comment about the grocery prices except for the clams and mussels. They were fresh and priced similarly to stores in Seattle. Will shop here next time when we are in the area.”

“First time on Whidbey Island, needed a seafood lunch and saw the other good reviews so we stopped in. It was great! Staff was awesome, we ordered the 3 tacos to share, and "magicly" received 4 so we each got 2. The fried clams were outstanding, delicious and tender, not at all chewy and the Fish and Chips were some of the best we've ever had. The tarter sauce is the best I've ever had, I could have eaten it with a spoon... definitely worth stopping in!”

In the process we've dealt with dozens of property managers. As you can imagine I have run into some real dirty scoundrels, who've slipped things into the contract, or promised things without putting them in writing. Several withheld damage deposits on false damage claims. They were not all bad, but South Island Properties was one of the best. Fantastic to deal with from the beginning to . They promptly showed up when ever there was an issue. They were always kind and understanding. When it came time to move to a larger location they wished us luck and returned our deposit without trying to hold back a dime. They will always be the first people we call when looking for a new spot.”

“Nice public access to the beach. Most Whidbey Island beaches are private but this little park offers a bit of serenity to the public. Bathrooms and seasonal wash-off areas. They even have a sand pit area with quite the collection of Tonka trucks for the little ones. Park is early accessible, good parking, and, if you are stuck waiting for the ferry, it's a great place to relax.”

“Awesome stuff. Local, unique, and affordable art that really represents the island and its culture. This boutique shop is really cool and you can get great souvenirs that you can't get at the "run of the mill" places that sell stamped out "Whidbey Island' stuff. The first time I went there, I lucked out and stopped there while at Ken's Korner and now I go there to get art to decorate my house and gifts for people regularly. There's something there for everyone.”

They explain things well and are very knowledgeable and diligent.
