“A very nice music store for its size. I came in to explore violins. It was only after talking to the owner that I discovered that there were several in the back on consignment. 😀 The owner plays Bass. Be sure to take a selfie beside the life size stand up bass sculpture on the lawn in front of the store 😉🎶”

“Been going here for years, they are open again for in-person dining and it is well worth the experience. They have expanded since the last time I was here! We had the most personable server, who shared our enthusiasm for the mariners. The pizza was classically great, and the baked cauliflower is a MUST. surprisingly light, with cherry tomatoes and a garlic dipping oil. Needless to say, the whole table joined in demolishing it completely. Pair with a house wine or beer, you can't go wrong.”

“We have bought several pieces over the past almost year from both Elizabeth and Doyle, including most recently a beautiful commission piece. In addition to being lovely to visit with, they are generous and explain their craft. Both artists have amazing range of talents. Do not walk by this gallery!”

“Really enjoyed the seafood pasta I got - tons of decadent flavor and big chunks of seafood. The fish and chips were pretty solid, the happy hour oysters and sliders were great, and the clams were yummy although we decided we still prefer their mussels. Definitely gets very busy at dinnertime and a number of people stopping in were turned off by the 35-45 minute estimated wait time so show up earlier, or hope you get lucky like we were. Seemed short staffed, probably due to covid reasons, so be patient with them - the staff are very friendly and doing their best :)”

“One of the best places we have ever stayed. Gorgeous gourmet offerings at breakfast. Every room is a room with a view. BEST GIANT BATHTUB EVER for relaxing and watching the clouds and eagles roll by. Candles and premium bath salts included. We loved our time there and the staff are so very kind and helpful and good at their jobs. What a treat!”

“We stumbled on this store back in August 2019. I was so pleasantly surprised with what they had to offer, and was totally taken with their new line ‘Surface by Serax’ from overseas. They have absolutely gorgeous camo green cast iron pans, pots and casserole dishes that I have never come across before. After talking to the owners who were incredibly helpful, I found out that they are the first company in North America to carry the brand. I currently own the large casserole dish, but will be expanding my collection soon to all of the pots I can get my hands on. I have had so many compliments the three times that I have used the unique dish, that my family members across North America will be purchasing a few items as well. Thank you for carrying such a gorgeous brand Leah!!”

“Susan Ishikawa was wonderful! She even cut a lovely posy of Lily of the Valley for my husband to give me. We purchased beautiful Japanese ramen bowls from her. I can’t wait to go home to use and DISPLAY the gorgeous ramen bowls.”

“Karen White is the best agent I have ever worked with. She will go the extra mile and then some for her clients. And she is very talented when it comes to staging a home. Amazing! I wish I could give her more than 5 stars. Plus, she is a fun and likable person with a great personality. You are making a mistake if you don’t work with Karen!”

“Gregor Rare Books was nostalgic and hit every heart sting in my soul. My husband and I visited Langley, WA, which is a quaint, lovely, tourist town on the southern part of Whidbey Island, accesible from the mainland via the Mukilteo Ferry or a drive through Deception Point at the Northern end of the Island. Langley has evolved from a sleepy island community into a high end tourist destination where dot com employees can spend a weekend and a ton of cash on just about everything you can imagine. A tourist who isn’t heavy with cash can still enjoy some of the town’s shopping experiences. The eateries offer broad selections and prices, so taking a day for lunch and a nice walk won’t break the bank. Being retired or on a budget still works! Now, down to business. My favorite find in downtown Langley was Gregor Rare Books. It was exactly like walking into the same store twenty-five years ago. The vibe was perfect and felt like a sanctuary from the downtown glitz and bling of Seattle. But best of all, was David Gregor. He was a true bohemian in his mellow unassuming nature, sitting behind his desk reading the latest book about Leonard Cohen. I cruised the few aisles and felt that David Gregor had hit the bells and whistles of what any book collector would want in his or her collection. Being an ex collector myself, I checked prices and conditions. The books were well priced for their value. His collection included Hemingway, Kesey, Steinbeck, Hesse, Kerouac, Harrison and too many more to mention. The books in this store were the books I cut my teeth on and grew up with. He hit most of the greatest writers of our time. It wasn’t lost on me that David Gregor had about five titles by his own hand, two of which I bought and are currently on my reading stack. Did I mention that he is also a musician? David is just a really smart guy who happens to be very well read, can play the guitar, is disciplined enough to write and has a beautiful bookstore in downtown Langley. Jesus tap dancing Christ. Perfect life. He is hanging out, just being …… a bohemian.”

“The Chef's Kitchen Restaurant is open again after two years, and it did not disappoint. The restaurant offers a limited number of seats for a multi-course set-menu meal. The dishes were beautifully presented and delicious! It is hard to choose a favorite, but the thai inspired corn soup, the salmon and eggplant, and the chocolate dessert are all top contenders. My partner got the wine pairing and was quite satisfied with the wine.”

“Wonderful little gem of a clothing store tucked into a charming cottage across from Inn at Langley. Nice price points on ladies clothing and some very pretty jewelry pieces, plenty of colorful scarves, some locally made slippers, great selection of ladies jeans. Inventory changes regularly. Staff is friendly and helpful. Check it out!”

“So, it’s our first time in Langley ad we did not know that there would be no options to get dinner past 8 pm. As we were walking home, we saw that someone was in Luso, so we went in, and we were not only greeted with kindness ( they were technically closed). But Fatima welcomed us in despite it being after hours! She whipped up a delicious dinner of fresh bread and Portuguese meatballs in a matter of moments!!! Our family was amaZed by her hospitality and kindness! It’s the best meal we’ve had! It was a lovely evening that we won’t soon forget!! Thank you! We highly recommend Luso!”

“I just had my first appointment today at Dr. Park’s office and I would definitely recommend this dental practice! His staff is so warm, friendly and personable, it reminded me of my childhood family dental office. I look forward to continuing our family’s dental care here! Dr. Park is super knowledgeable and recommended grinding down an old filling that had been causing my chewing to be off and was bothering me for years; my previous dentist insisted it was fine, and it felt better instantly. The hygienist was so lovely and did an excellent job on my way over due cleaning. After reading a few other older reviews I feel their prices are actually quite reasonable without insurance, what dentist is cheap? None!”

“This place is so amazing- part store, part museum! Not only authentic handwoven rugs, also beautiful jewelry and other treasures from Tibet, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Türkiye, etc. at very reasonable prices. Warm, friendly owner on-site offers his first hand knowledge about the provenance of everything in the store. Sales help to support local artisans in their various countries of origin.”

“I love love love this place. When we come to Langly (from Iowa) we might only be there a couple nights, but I always seem to make it in at least once a day! Haven't been for almost a year and I miss it!”
