(August 16, 2021, 8:29 pm)My mom and I had a wonderful time camping here! We stayed for 4 nights. David and Cheryl were very helpful and accommodating with all of our requests and questions. It was so convenient having a bathroom nearby and a place to wash our dishes.
The view is breathtaking from their property. The beach is accessible from the back deck. The first night we stayed we watched the perseid meteor shower from the deck and one of our hosts stayed up and watched with us.
Their animals are all very friendly. The cats are pretty fiesty and love to play. Their dog is very well behaved and would come and lay down by our tent. The goat mainly keeps to himself but occasionally will come over and ask for food by putting his face in yours. 😆
Make sure to have plenty of light with you at night if you are camping because there's roots and stuff to trip on. (I mean, it is the outdoors!) It's a great laid back place to relax with great hosts. We'll definitely be coming back here!

(June 30, 2021, 1:31 pm)Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at Mystery Bay Inn. Cheryl and David are both genuine kind people. The atmosphere was very homey and the animals are so full of spunk! We will definitely be staying again in the near future!
(May 22, 2021, 7:15 pm)Where to begin?? I just came home and had to immediately give credit to Cheryl for opening this home to the public. Along with David, who does maintenance, they have made this place truly a special getaway. This was a last minute trip (booked the day before) so we didn't know what to expect. However, immediately it felt like home! Cheryl and David were generous and treated each other with respect which we loved to see! Although we packed as if we were moving in, Cheryl provides guests with more than enough in the kitchen and bathroom! They had rentals...so we chose a canoe. David took a picture of us and printed us copies (2 for us and 1 for us to sign and they plan to display with the others) I thought this was a really nice touch! Another thing I loved was that they accommodated my dog - he was basically on vacation too! I really hated leaving this place but I am blessed to know what and who we are coming back to.
Thank you David and Cheryl you made my last minute birthday trip something to remember! We will see you again!
(April 19, 2021, 12:42 pm)We came for the day and rented a canoe. It was a great experience. The gentleman of the house was a very big help to us. For only $20 they went above and beyond. I plan to use them as an overnight stay when I'm in the area next.
(January 17, 2021, 10:55 pm)This place offers wonderful views of the water there and in the whole town of Nordland. The cabin we stayed in was perfect for us. Adorable, charming and equipped with everything you need. Owners are also very accommodating and nice. Plan to visit again soon.
