Like others have said, great little place to grab things you forgot while camping here, and the food is really great! I saw so many compliments on the Reuben and thought, no way, it can't be THAT good...it really is!
It's the place that has what you need when camping. Their cooked food menu is delicious and they offer all kinds of other needed things. Propane, kites, beer, ice cream cones. You can't go wrong here. My wife and I just checked out our camp sites for later this month and in the summer and everything is awesome. The Reuben is top notch, perfect balance and the dog is worth the cost of admission too. Bring the kids! Bring your appetite! Bring your thirst! Beachcomber Cafe has you covered for your camping experience out on the island.
This place is a hidden gem in Fort Flagler State Park on the north end of Marrowstone Island. Maj-Britt Peacock (and her husband Jim) have built this park concession up over the last 15+ years. Its a great little place to grab a burger or dog for lunch. They also have espresso, soft ice cream, drinks and more. Breezy day? Grab a kite and have fun with the kids or just sit and play with their lego's and enjoy an ice cream. If you've never been out to Flagler, its just a short drive from Port Townsend and a nice drive up the Island. Enjoy the views of Port Townsend across the bay or spend the day on the beach. Handicap passes enter the park for free (I don't see passes on cars spending an hour in the park but a day pass is recommended to spend the day on the beach).
Help support this little gem run by hard working people.
Cute fun little place. Open for takeout only summer of 2021 but still fun. A glass of wine and a salmon burger really hit the spot for me. The polish dog, recommended by the lady taking orders, was seriously amazing! Staff are friendly and fast.
