What a lovely Community Dinner was served the evening before Thanksgiving! This Compassionate Church has a Real Heart for Seniors and for those less fortunate than themselves. Yes, I will be donating to the wonderful smiles, friendly servers, and great food. Awesome Example of LOVE!
Very welcoming community. Father Dave is so caring and giving of his time. We have been members since 1983 and can't imagine not being part of St.Barbara Church and the loving family atmosphere.
St Barbara's is a very welcoming Parish.
Wonderful people and priest. The church is beautiful and Serene
Very warm, welcoming, personable parish, with a long history of down-to-earth priests, staff, and ministerial associates. The Ten O'Clock Choir is pretty decent, and a heck of a fun group to be in. Can't read music? No problem, neither can most of us. We'll show you the trick to making a joyful noise. Currently seeking more voices, males in particular.
As a cradle Catholic that has attended a half dozen churches in the Seattle area I can say that more churches need the warm and welcoming feeling St. B offers. I strongly, think that the open seating plan is the best anywhere as it allows patrons to stay interactive, attentive, and focused on the priest and readings. A unique, yet similar experience that any Catholic will enjoy. Still very traditional though.
