“I was in search of .22 caliber pellets and this was the only store in the area that carried them. Needless to say, I bought him out of all .22 caliber pellets. Aside from the pellets, this is a fantastic gun shop. While looking around I noted his handgun prices and they are really good. I didn't see a handgun over $500. Great prices! And the gentleman behind the counter (I assume he's the owner), was very pleasant, and helpful. I would very much shop there again if I'm in the area. And I very much recommend this shop to anyone looking for a great price on a handgun.”

“Neat concept, a coffee shack on the side of the road, barely visible (thanks google), drive through only. Two girls work there, very nice, friendly, even though there's a big line of cars. Takes only a minute to make a really nice latte, cardamom honey. And it tastes great. A tad expensive at 6.15$ each for 16oz though but this is Seattle, your $ is worth near nothing here. Everything is stupid expensive, so just spend it, and leave fast as you can. 6$ bagels, 6$ gas, can be found here as well. Too bad it's very pretty city, when weather is good.”

“Love it. I’ve been a student at Kung Fu Club of Issaquah for about 2 years and my son, age 10, for about 4 years. Sifu Sasynuik has created a school where students of all ages learn incredibly effective self-defense martial arts skills, leadership skills, as well as internal health. I’d like to share my own experience to help others that may be in a similar situation when I started. I’m currently 42, slim, more of an intellectual type than a physical thug. I played tennis and basketball in my early years and began to get a little frustrated when playing young adults…my body simply wasn’t as fast as it used to be. I felt it was time to try something new to keep in shape and have fun and began a search for something that I can get better at as I get older. My son had been taking martial arts for a while and it occurred to me that maybe I should try that. Not only would I stay in shape, I would also get a chance to learn a life skill with my son. Way cool. I decided to observe an adult class to check it out. The day I decided to observe an adult class just happened to be a day full of some of the most senior students in the school, and the day one of senior students was training for an amateur MMA fight that weekend. It was intense and I was scared to step onto the floor. Anyway, I collected my courage and stood up to begin the class. Each of the students came over and introduced themselves to me. That was great. It broke down some of my nervousness when I felt all of them were aware I was new and took a moment to say hello. We began the class and Sifu Sasynuik asked the senior students to pair up with the juniors including me. We practiced a very basic technique called pak sao with our partners. Although a very basic technique, the senior student I partnered with was incredibly supportive and coached me through it. We even began to “spar” using limiting moves to focus on the pak sao technique. Later, the seniors broke off to train in advanced techniques and Sifu Sasynuik took the beginners to work on a few more basic techniques with a bit of sparring using the technique in a very controlled movement so as to not get while getting familiar with the technique on another person. On day 1, students learn a valuable skill and apply it. That process continues for the rest of their training years to come. I was hooked. Fast forward a couple years to today and I’m now a more intermediate level student with a set of skills where I feel confident I could handle myself in most situations. I have made solid friendships. In fact, the two senior students that I observed on my first day are now very good friends of mine. The school is now an extension of my family. It has given so much to me personally I’m proud to be a part of it and consider it an honor to help beginners whenever I can just like the senior students did with me when I started. “Where else in the US can you drive 30min from a city to a Wallaby ranch?? My husband and I just visited for July 4th weekend and it was such a charming, wonderful, and educational experience. Turns out we both actually know very little about kangaroos so the video introduction we watched was really fun and informative. The owner clearly cares about his animals and is very knowledgeable (definitely bring any questions you can think of because he will enthusiastically answer everything). You can tell that he puts a lot of thought into caring for the ranch and into making these large group experiences memorable for every single visitor. Everyone has a chance to take personal photos, feed the roos, and pet them! I also can’t believe how clean he keeps the property. The animals are so happy and relaxed. It’s beautiful to see. If folks take the time to read the website and do a little research, setting up a time for a tour is actually really easy and straightforward (I would call during reasonable business hours - pacific time). The owner does a lot to make sure he can accommodate as many people’s schedules as possible, so it’s actually a little infuriating to see the recent spate of entitled 1-star tiktok reviewers from people who didn’t get what they wanted or couldn’t be bothered to be patient. Definitely come for a visit if you want a safe, educational experience and - do remember that this ranch is maintained by a very passionate, kind individual who really cares about his kangaroos. This isn’t a circus act and it’s a group experience where everyone should be able to learn/enjoy *together*.”

“Our two special-needs cats are family, and at this point, Dr. Shahi feels more like a family doctor to us than some of the pediatricians we've had in the valley. I am impressed that he took no time to remember not only their names (in addition to ours), but also their complex case histories, in detail. I've never been put on hold when calling him, we've never had to sit in the waiting room (the appointments are incredibly prompt), we've always gotten quick help in time of crises, and we've received quick calls about test results, even on early mornings and weekends. Unlike other vets in the past, he has never tried to force us into unnecessary tests and treatments that add on expenses and just traumatize the animals and the humans. His rational approach tends to be to start with what is needed given what we know about the situation at hand, explaining everything in detail, different possibilities, and letting us make the decisions that we are comfortable with, and then take it from there. Having been dragged through the other kind of exploitative hell before, I so appreciate this kind of respect and consideration! It's a small clinic that doesn't have super fancy technological capacity (e.g. abdominal ultrasounds), but he will tell you at what point he needs to send you to a different place for more sophisticated exams and treatments.”
