“We have two kids here and have been here for over a year and a half. Our oldest has celiac disease. They have been so careful and accommodating to our particular needs. She has thrived here, making friends and enthusiastically learning new skills. The staff provides fun, age-appropriate activities and finds unique ways to teach the kids all the state "benchmarks." Our oldest recently 'graduated' here. She is beyond ready for Kinder, thanks to the excellent teachers here. I would say that we will miss them terribly, but our youngest is staying on as his big sister moves on. We are so happy! Things that I appreciate here are the communication between parents and staff. I always know what is happening. They ALWAYS ask questions about my daughter's dietary and lifestyle needs instead of just assuming. When they need to close, they always give advance notice. Like the one week of the year the family (that owns and runs the facility) takes a vacation. Even in inclement weather, they are great about notifying parents. They have been open on many days when I would have understood them closing. Hours and pricing are completely reasonable. The staff has even patiently waited for me on more than one occasion when I was stuck in traffic. We have had every type of childcare experience: other facilities, a nanny, and in-home care. This is by far my favorite experience and my kids!”

“We love this short loop! It's quick and refreshing as the swampland and trees are dense and you can easily forget you're in the middle of town. No dogs allowed but easy for kids, just have to make sure everyone stays on the boardwalk. Sometimes it's a little slick but it's always very manageable.”

“We were here in Tacoma visiting daughter. She took us here become she loves the food. She is gluten intolerant & lactose intolerant, but finds this place to be wonderful. Hasn’t had any food problems since coming here a year ago. Customer service was great & restaurant was very clean. Love the atmosphere. Great selection in food & good portions. “Delicious lunch! The owner packages the rice noodle/dumpling soup in parts so it can be reheated at your leisure. One order of soup came with one carton of soup, one carton of dumplings and rice cakes, one carton of kimchi, and one carton of seaweed/egg for garnish. The portions are generous- two orders will feed 3-4 people. The Mandoo are IMMENSE. Our favorite is the black rice bun filled with red beans. I buy a sack full and take them home to freeze. They are easily reheated in the microwave or steamer. Everything is made from scratch- the kimchi is the best I’ve ever had.”

“It is what it is, like many Federal Way parks it isn't huge. What is nice is a place to park and take a walk. It's safer to park here than it is at the parking lot on 356th for the BPA trail.. You can also walk south down the dirt path and into Fife Heights a ways. It's also a nice spot to park if you want to walk around the neighborhood to the east. I've done all these with my dog and it's a great out of the way area with lots of directions to go.”
