As an alternative way to get to downtown Seattle, we used a seaplane from Kenmore to downtown Seattle, and it only cost $35 one way. The most important thing is the view from the window. You will see a floating bridge, Husky Stadium and land on Lake Union. The trip is short, but worth it! Highly recommend trying Kenmore Air!

I got a CSES this spring from Kenmore Air. The two CFIs I flew with and the DPE were all fantastic and I had an absolute blast learning how to fly seaplanes. I would highly recommend training with Kenmore Air for their professionalism, quality instruction, positive atmosphere, and joy of flight.

Got my private seaplane rating here. The CFIs are friendly and super efficient in their training, and thorough—and the experience is like nothing you’ll get anywhere else, especially for the price! They really care about getting you taught in a way that works for you and doesn’t completely break your bank; it’s an experience unlike any other, they make it fun too. If you’re a private pilot or higher rating on the fence about giving seaplanes a shot, I can’t recommend them enough. Get out here and have fun!

Really a unique and fun experience to travel on a seaplane, would definitely recommend trying it. My flight was to Victoria BC which was around 40 minutes long. The reason I can’t give them a 5 star rating was due to how they treated my situation after they had to cancel my return flight back to Kenmore. They weren’t really trying to help and just said it was canceled and told me I had to figure out where to stay an extra night and also pay out of pocket. I would’ve expected more assistance considering I am located in a different country where attempting to make phone calls in always an extra charge. I think they should make themselves more helpful in situations like these since the flights only transport a small amount of people per flight unlike big airports/airline companies. In the end I do still recommend this place but just keep your fingers crossed your flight back home doesn’t get canceled.
