“As a running start (RS) student, this was a great experience, especially during the pandemic. I had a lot of professors who genuinely enjoyed their work and were motivated to teach. The resources for RS weren’t made very clear though. If you’re planning on attending BC, I’d highly recommend in person classes over online ones, so that you can take advantage of the facilities, participate in clubs, and make friends.”

“Took my HCA exam here today. Convenient location with plenty of parking. Proctor was fantastic; she was very professional, friendly and welcoming. She made the experience much less stressful by giving us a quick overview of how the testing process works. She did an excellent job at making the process run smoothly and efficiently.”

“What a stunning, sophisticated campus. When I visited this university, I had a sudden urge to transfer here as an university. I love the design of the ancient buildings and the fountain and lovely herds of geese (although they were a lot of bird poops lol). I would like to visit here again when it is cherry blossom season!”

“I was surprised with a gift certificate for a 1 hr training flight and just did it this weekend. It was amazing and everything I hoped it would be. I got to sit in the main left pilots seat while instructor Matt was in the right seat. (Matt was a great guy BTW!) We spent time before the flight getting to know the Cessna 172 aircraft and what is done on a preflight inspection. He did the heavy lifting of course with take off and landing but I was able to take the controls for about 20 minutes. It was completely amazing feeling that I hope to duplicate with more lessons. Thank you for a very memorable day!”

“My discovery flight was an amazing, memory-of-a-lifetime type experience - if you're looking at this, you should probably go ahead and book now. I was in town visiting folks and had been saving up for a discovery flight for some time. The opportunity to jump into a seaplane for the adventure was an easy yes, and from the jump it was an excellent experience. Scheduling was a breeze (with lots of availability), and when we arrive at Wiley Post, James was there to greet us. The flight itself was incredible. I was nervous times a hundred, and James was excellent about talking me through my nerves and providing support as needed. We cruised around and even modified our flight to overfly my parents' house, and then returned home for a smooth landing on Lake Washington, but not before buzzing by the stadiums and skyscrapers of downtown Seattle. I only wish I still lived in Seattle so I could get my flight training with Seaplane Scenics. Seriously.”

“The iADA school is amazing! In 3 months, you are taught through a hands-on and one-on-one experience. Not only do you learn clinically, but you learn from the doctor himself. Dr. Huynh is a great instructor! He makes sure you gain the necessary knowledge to become a successful dental assistant. My experience here could not have been any better. Trust me when I say that this school definitely does not disappoint!! I would recommend this program to whomever wants to become a successful dental assistant.”

“I attended and finish Kamanga CNA training in Des-Moines in September- October 2012.Don provided full information about payment and term for return money.Everybody from first day was able to estimate own ability to study and had time to change mind.He provided for us CPR training in intensive, demanded and detailed style.Hi was persistent till last one from us understood what need to do.Else, main tutoring for us ,provided by Cici was not just academical, but very practical. She used her knowledge and experience to show us full picture and expectations in CNA field. If you want to learn something-you have to study hard and most by yourself..Don't expect somebody for your money will chew and put it in your mouth. My experience with Kamanga was good and I would recommend it for everybody.Thank you CiCi,I am using your skill every day.”

“Seattle Colleges serves all of metropolitan Seattle and its surrounding communities and comprises the largest community college district in the state, educating more than 45,000 students each year. The first classes were held in the Edison Vocational Technical Institute on Capitol Hill, when Seattle Community College—now Seattle Central College—opened in 1966 as part of the public school system. The State Community College Act of 1967 established college districts apart from the public schools, with a mandate to provide an open door to education for all who seek it. A long-range plan called for three campuses in the city, and planning began immediately for North Seattle College and South Seattle College. Community College Act signing ceremony Community College Act signing ceremony, 1967 By September 1970, all three colleges opened together for the first time as a multicampus district. Seattle Vocational Institute, affiliated with Central, joined the district in 1991 under the state’s Workforce Training and Education Act. The district also includes five specialized training centers located throughout the city: Health Education Center, Seattle Maritime Academy, and Wood Technology Center, affiliated with Central. Georgetown Campus and NewHolly Learning Center, affiliated with South. Students choose from an array of more than 130 academic and career and technical education (CTE) programs, the largest number in the state. The curriculum has led the way as the Puget Sound area moved from a manufacturing and resource-based economy to information-based industries. Like the region, the college population is dynamic. The student body is the most diverse in the Northwest, reflecting nearly 80 different languages spoken in homes throughout the city. By design, each of the colleges reflects its community. While the colleges are an integral part of their neighborhoods and offer certain unique educational programs, all are comprehensive and offer programs in college transfer, career and technical training, adult basic education, and continuing education.”
