“I lived in this complex for three years and only moved recently due to its conversion to low income housing. This apartment complex underwent changes in management several times, and we had an absolutely horrible manager for a while (Dana), who had nothing but lies, rudeness, and inaction for the tenants. Finally, the most wonderful manager was sent to us, whose name is Rachel. She is the best apartment manager I've ever dealt with; a helpful, prompt, clear communicator, who actually got things done! The bathtub refinish and fan that I needed fixed - for the last two years - were finally taken care of. Rachel also helped me quickly dive through the paperwork I needed to fill out during the low-income conversion. I was sad to leave here and am very thankful for Rachel's help throughout my time here. If you are considering this as a place to live, be aware that this apartment complex will be undergoing significant overhauls and remodels for the next several months and will only be available to low income households. The pool is great and will be staying - but it is outdoor and only open between Memorial Day and Labor Day.”

“Awesome Bible studies and worship. My family and I have been coming to this church for about a year. Core members are selfless in serving others, warm welcome to new comers, and the Pastor's message is to the point. There are few things we need to work on like obeying traffic law. Church is located in very private community in Lake Forest, and I noticed many Church members either drives too fast or do not fully stop at the stop sign. Also, there are few residents over react to the drivers as well. But overall. if this church is well balanced.”

“The City Hall was a great place to get passports. During our time at the hall we were able to go through the entire passport process quickly and effectively allowing for us to do other things. In addition to the quick passport process, the workers at the hall also had great customer service something you don't generally expect from all public servants.”

“Arrived here at noon on Friday. Both ladies were very friendly and professional. When I realized I could pay for the $110 passport fee (it says on their website) by check or money order only (and I didn’t bring any personal check with me), the lady at the info desk kindly reminded me that there are two banks (I didn’t notice) right next door that I could just get a cashier’s check from and I did. The passport lady let me retake my picture when I was not pleased with the 1st two. That was very nice of her. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Overall a fine experience!”

“August 5 at Lake Forest Farmers Market a man appeared to be very disturbed and was agitated and hurting himself, thrashing on the pavement. Officers responded and while I am no expert on the mentally ill, they reassured the man, found his ID and medication list and assisted EMT staff to restrain and transport- with what I saw as the least possible force and coercion. I felt they were commited to avoiding injury and assuring they, too were safe. This all happened 10 feet from our booth. Good job to the officers! Thank you.”
