SO glad to have found this place as well as to have met the people who run it! The facility is very impressive facility surrounded by such a great community. It is very clear how passionate the owners are. Everyone involved in the operation is so friendly. There is a new viewing area within the arena that I look forward to spending time in. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
So happy to have found this place for my daughter. Their program is exceptional as it is really providing deep learning on horse behavior well beyond just how to ride a horse. Something that will provide a foundation for safe, and enjoyable horse relationships for both her and the horses she encounters for the rest of her life. And she spends the whole lesson smiling!
Wow! What a group of genuine, caring people who are crazy about everything horse - including the riders! Our daughter has been taking lessons here for over 3 years. Western Sky teaches true horsemanship, not just sitting on a horse going round and round. They have guided us through every step of becoming first-time horse owners and it has been a pleasure.
This is a fantastic facility run by incredible caring people. I take lessons and and lease horses. I enjoy the welcoming community of people and horses. All the horses are happy and well cared for by a great team. Great large covered arena and round pen with access to lovely trails. There is a great area for parents and friends to wait and watch during lessons.
I highly recommend Western Sky Equestrian Center, they have it all! The horses and facility are very well cared for by the knowledgeable experienced folks, owners and employees alike. The location is awesome; quick and easy to get to (20 minutes from Microsoft main campus/right off Avondale), has easy access to the Redmond Watershed trails, with a large covered arena and separate round pen for riding. As well as separated pasture area for the horses to horse around outside. They offer training, lessons and clinics with an emphasis on helping you reach your horsemanship goals by working with the horse(s) to create a partnership. Go visit and see for yourself; after checking it out relax under the big old shade trees and enjoy the lovely grounds.
