Katie’s slow flow class is one of my favorite hours of the week. I learn something new about a pose every class. The pace and variety of the sequences are excellent, and I feel so much better after taking this class. Thank you!!
Had a great first class! The environment is bright, clean. Katie greeted me and walked me through everything. The class was a great pace and good workout. They made it clear different variations you could make. Safe and welcoming space. By far my most positive yoga experience!
We’re grateful that YogaSix in Sammamish is part of the Active and Fit program that’s supported by our health insurance, and so for a year my husband and I have a mini-membership of 4 classes a month. The studio is great— very friendly staff (both at the front desk and the instructors), clean, well organized, lots of props. Classes are in a mostly darkened studio with some funky lighting changes, and they almost always start an end promptly on the hour.
As an experienced student, I love Katie L’s classes in particular for her combination of physical intensity and calm demeanor with gentle mindfulness nudges. (I love that even her Slow Flow classes are as much of a body-mind workout as some other instructors’ Power classes.)
Katy T teaches a bubbly and high-energy Sculpt and Flow class that involves weights and bands and a lot of sweat; she also gets very creative with musical playlists, for instance dedicating a week of Power classes to Taylor Swift’s new album.
The downsides of the studio are that: parking during peak hours can sometimes be tough to quickly find with a short walk; and it’s very popular, so classes can be crowded (though in my experience it’s rare that they fully book out in advance).
I absolutely love Yoga Six studio! It's incredibly comfortable and has such a Zen atmosphere that immediately puts me at ease. Nate is an awesome teacher who manages to make yoga both fun and calming at the same time. His classes are a true delight, and I always leave feeling rejuvenated and centered. The combination of the studio's ambiance and Nate's teaching style creates a truly wonderful yoga experience.
We had a special start to father's day as a family and Rachel led us through a great hot yoga session, guiding this first-timer in a way that felt empowering. Looking forward to more classes to further stretch myself in ways I couldn't imagine.
