really vanessa gaoa...because i'm an 8th grader and i know that there are no 6th graders...btw i do like this school.
Better than Awtrey, Mcclure Middle School (Which is on seattle), Lindley, Eckstein, and Einstein
I am currently an 8th grader at this school 'migrating' over from the Kent school district. This school has some nice teachers, and so far I have not met any particularly mean teachers. This school is very diverse, and it is nice to have anyone and everyone accepted here despite their racial differences. The SOAR initiative that this school takes part in motivates the students to do well in class/school. I think that this school could have some improvements here and there, such as maybe some newer technology, but overall this is a good school.
I'd give this school a 3, but I'm rating 5 to even out some 1 star reviews.
Chinook is average, that's it. It has good and bad staff. There are teachers you'll never forget and teachers you'll wish you could forget. Staff is the same way, some are great, and some are terrible.
I'm in college now, and I figure I'd reflect upon my middle and high school years. So here is my honest rating.
Don't listen to the children leaving reviews that hate school, every kid thinks their school is the worst. If you're a concerned parent or a scared 6th grader, this school is an alright one. It set me on the path to take High School math in 7th grade and get ahead in credits.
