SeaTac's sleek, mid-century modern design has saddled the airport with a grossly inadequate roadway infrastructure to handle today's traffic demands. The entrance to Arrivals, Departures and Short-Term Parking is also shared with taxi, limo and Uber-like service, as well as, all of the long-term parking, rental car and off-site shuttles serving the airport, creating an unbelievable traffic bottleneck during busy time periods -- especially during the holidays that can't be resolved without tearing down the current parking structure.

Located on the edge of the main parking garage, the Light Rail provides an excellent alternative on the peripheral of this traffic nightmare, but requires passengers to add significant walking time to their planning.
