“You'd probably walk past this and not give it a second thought, but I highly recommend you walk in. This is the best store for Latin American products in the general Beacon Hill area that I've found. The owner is as nice as can be, and you can tell he is thoughtful about what he imports from Latin America. He has the best products that I grew up with--loroco, chorizo, queso, crema, chiles, special pots for making tamales, special presses for making tortillas, special grinders for making salsas. He has it all. Not much to look at, but 5 stars for what's offered.”

“I have now had the pleasure of working with HomeSight on two separate occasions: initially as a first time homebuyer back in 2018, and more recently as I refinanced for a better interest rate. Through their courteous service and generous financial assistance, I have managed to achieve what once seemed impossible: a home with my name on the deed! The process was simple, transparent, and very fair. There were no gimmicks or weird hidden fees anywhere along the way (one of the benefits of working with a nonprofit vs. a bank or private institution); instead, painstaking effort was made to ensure I was getting an equitable deal on my purchase and that I was fully educated about each step of the home-buying process. I’ve interacted with numerous members of HomeSight’s staff over the years and I’ve always been treated with an impressive degree of kindness, respect, and patience. Ali was my primary loan officer during the purchase (he’s wonderful!) and Janet was my primary point of contact during the refinance (she’s equally fantastic, and pro-tip: ask her for recommendations on where to get the best pan dulce!) It’s clear that HomeSight cares about the wellbeing of its clients and the community serves. While I’m a fairly skeptical person by nature, HomeSight has earned not only my trust but my loyalty and admiration. Kudos, team! Keep up the great work!”

“My overall visit was pleasant. He was kind, explained the details well and ensure procedures go smoothly and efficient. He has flexible schedule, process information quickly and stay responsive for any questions and concerns. At first I was worried about the negative reviews but the visit made me realised it could be biased as ppl are more likely to make reviews after negative experiences rather than a neutral one.”

“KIn and took care of my dad like no other, the food he even loved so much. I wish his second round he was living here. Everyone was so helpful, and patient with him, and even informative to me on how I should watch him when he leaves. Sadly, after they sent him to Avalon Nursing Home in Federal Way which was a horrible place. He passed away there and it was the most worst experience ever. Thank you KIn On for at least giving a bit of happiness when he was in a nursing home, unlike Avalon. I would recommend this to any elders they treat you with the utmost respect.”

“This is one of the best Ethiopian restaurant I’ve been to in Seattle, the vibe of the restaurant once you come walk in is very cultural and it feels like you’re actually in Ethiopia. There food is delicious and fresh and I was surprised because they had many vegetarian options. The owner of the restaurant was friendly and I’ll definitely will be coming back soon.”

“Just visited here today. The staff is very helpful. Dr. Wong was very thorough and helpful in educating me on good oral hygiene that fit my issues. I don't have much experience going to dentists so this is going to be very helpful for my overall oral health in the future.”

“As I was walking along the east side of Rainier Ave , Columbia City Ale House looked inviting......and a moment later I was sipping an IPA. My burger and side of potato salad came soon after. Service was very good. The food was great. And I got to meet Emily: the bartender, waitperson, and new owner! She said when the previous owner wanted to close the doors forever, she decided to buy it to keep it going. Her 7 years work experience there is a major plus. Full bar, pub fare, at least one veggie option, a good selection of draft beer with rotating taps.”

“I really enjoy this place! I am a disabled veteran and not able to enter the store because of the size of my wheel chair. Whenever I can make it to MC Foods, an employee notices me outside his store on the sidewalk. This employee will retrieve the things that I ask for, and exchange my money. I can't help from hearing the christian music coming from the store either. I remember asking for a salt and pepper shaker, and the employee ordered this for me. A few weeks later the items came and he just gave them to me as a gift. A very thoughtful noble gift. I love visiting.”

“This is one of the great spots of Columbia City - and a great place to get a Bourbon and chill with friends. Many times they have live music, and also seems to be a staging area for people to wet their whistles before they go to the show at the Theater next door. I very much enjoy this place, and they have great Bourbon at semi-great prices.”

“Columbia City Theater is a quality spot to see a show. It's not too far off from the Light Rail, there's a fun small brewery nearby, and they have their own bar. The stage is raised to a great level that allows you to see from most areas in the theater, and it's got two tiers for standing room. People working the show have always been super nice letting people in and as people are exiting. I feel like this is a spot that typically has artists that are quality music, but not super popular, so you get a pretty intimate show that has plenty of room for not feeling like a sardine during a show. On the downside, if it's an all ages show, you have to get your drinks from the bar that's not in view of the stage, but you can still kind of hear the music.”

“My mom loves all of her Buck and Buck clothing; always a good fit, excellent quality and marvelous design options. Mother has always been a smart dresser and thanks to you, at 100+ years young she has beautiful choices and looks lovely every day. What an incredible gift it is to have your consistently kind and patient telephone staff, wonderful clothing choices and so many adaptive offerings. Please know that every time I have ever recommended Buck and Buck for friends or colleagues parents or for their own adaptive dressing needs, I have received a thank you and a very satisfied report; it is always an honor to be able to recommend you. So, a HUGE thank you to you and your incredible staff.”

“I visited around 6:30pm on a Tuesday night. My friend and I were the only people there at that time. To be clear, The Comfort Zone is in the Royal Esquire Club. The club has a lot of tables to choose from. We heard that it gets livelier as the night goes on as well. It seems like it would a nice place to spend time with good friends. As time went on, more people arrived and musicians started setting up. We left before they started playing, but it probably would have been fun to hang around. As for the service, the young lady taking our orders and delivering our food was a wonderful host. It was a pleasure talking to her and her friendly personality made me feel welcome. My friend and I ordered the hush puppies and chicken wings to start. The chicken wings tasted great and were obviously just out of the fryer because they were piping hot. For the entrée, I ordered the fried catfish, mac n cheese, and rice and beans. The fried catfish and the mac n cheese were definite highlights. The catfish was not greasy and tasted fresh with no muddiness at all. The mac n cheese was delicious as well with a thick layer of cheddar on top. I would definitely go back to visit.”
