Amazing local park that is used by the West Seattle Little League during baseball season.
Only a block from two different beaches.(depending on the tides)
Great place to watch the all stars games. Love they have real bathrooms.
This is a great place to play some baseball eat a hotdog when their is a little league game going on and cheer for your favorite team the two fields are well maintained during the baseball season you might even see a group of kids having a pickup game on the weekend
Growing up, I played Little League at Bar S, and countless neighborhood pickup games. We loved it then because of the fences. If you could Crush it (10-12 yr olds) no one could defend it. So this field unknowingly prepared me for my softball years later on. Same mentality, bigger fields. Now however, the park is even better. Fields are in Great shape as always, but new bleachers, dugouts, bull pens, and Grandstand make it a great Atmosphere for fans and players alike. And of course there's a snack bar. All nestled right off Alki Beach in West Seattle, this is what kids dreams are made of. Big League Feel and Local touch, volunteer run and fun for everyone. Except the latecomers who don't get parking. 5 stars
Wonderful park to watch a little league baseball game. Lots of bleacher seating and the ballfields are sized for kids. My only issue is the parking area -it is less that 15 yards from the backstop and runs parallel to the two ballfields. Foul balls are often hit over the backstop or over the side fences often striking parked cars. If you notice that people back into the parking spaces, its because it lessens the chance of the front windshield taking a direct hit. Do yourself a favor and park as far away from the fields as possible. Two cars were hit during the last 6-inning game I saw there.
