“I contacted Continental for the move from 2 storage units in Kent to my new home in Tacoma. Larry was my initial contact. He was very professional and explained the entire process. The cost was very reasonable considering I would have to hire a moving truck, talk my 3 sons into helping with the move during the Thanksgiving/Christmas holidays, then cover any chiropractic care when it was done. It was quick, painless process to set up. The three young men who came to do the actual move were amazingly professional and funny! Even on that stormy day when we moved! They never complained and worked so hard to get the job done. Nothing was broken or damaged. And in the new house, if one of the saw me struggling to move a box, they were right there to move it for me. They even took a few minutes to help me put together my huge solid oak dining room table. I would definitely call on Continental again! It was money well spent!!!”

We were moving about 20 miles away from a 2500 SF home and an off-site storage site, to a 4200 SF home on rather short-notice (2 weeks) and needed a full service local mover. I contacted several companies and Octopus was THE ONLY one who contacted us personally. (Others just emailed their standard hourly rates.) Octopus gave us a good quote and we hired them on the spot. “This is the place where, as the worker explained to us, fish that come into our state, are stored and distributed from countries like Russian and China and other states like Alaska. He claimed they store thousands upon thousands of boxes and could see up to and probably more then 1 million fish! Unfortunately, I could not take pictures, bit you have to show your ID at the entrance gate. Also not easy to drive into, must take the half circle road there.”

The facility is easy to get to and is fairly new and SUPER clean. I appreciate that especially in the midst of COVID, it gave me a sense of relief. I believe the person who helped me on the phone, Natalie (?) was SUPER NICE and helpful too! “This is the best U-Haul store we have ever come in Seattle. We ordered an U-Box to ship to Ohio, and we were late to bring stuffs in on the original schedule. The manager - John - was super nicely changed my schedule, and even extended my truck rent for free. Nicest person we have met working in U-Haul. By the way, the U-Box can fit almost 90% of the 10’ Truck in full of boxes. It’s bigger than we expected. Thank you so much for the services. 100/10 recommended this store! ＼(^o^)／”

“The storage company I had been using for over a decade went out of business as the owner is retiring. He suggested I try Simply Self Storage just a few blocks away. I called and arranged a tentative appointment. During my visit the staff made me feel like I was part of their family as they were answering my questions and giving me a tour of the facility where my storage unit was located. The facility was very clean and well lit. Even the bathrooms were spotless. I even watch a maintenance guy patch a small hole in the wall at the loading dock. I didn’t think it was necessary, but it just shows that these people are serious about keeping the place looking nice even though it's an older building. They told me that this building was used to manufacture windows and who knows before that. I was happy that the paperwork was painless and I don’t think I spent more than 30 minutes there. A few days later, I hired Eco Movers to move my stuff from my old storage to the new one so I didn't have to kill my back and knees. The whole moving process went smoothly. I think I'm really going to like this storage company.”

“The district manager Al Allen ensured that my storage situation was taken care of. I had a few issues at another property and he got me moved over to this location, matching the price. Al must be incredibly busy, managing multiple Public Storage locations in the area, but he made time to call me several times to work out a solution. I really appreciated this personal customer service. The on-site manager, Pascale, is incredibly friendly and very fast and efficient. She runs the whole place by herself, and does an absolutely amazing job. The place is spotless. She has also called me several times to ensure that I was well taken care of. I am impressed by Al and Pascale's ability to turn a very negative experience into an incredibly positive one. 5 stars.”
