“I am VERY skeptical of doctors after several family members became ill and passed from cancer after going to their doctors for multiple months without a diagnosis. I haven't been to a doctor in years but I started having some health issues this past year and decided to get checked out. I was wary of being brushed off and dismissed without adequate time to explain my problems. Read: I'm exhausted by doctors. But, I had the opposite experience here with both the asthma/allergy department and the GI department. The doctors were caring and genuinely listened to my concerns. They were thorough and performed the right amount of tests to get to the root health issues. Not only that, they scheduled follow-up appointments immediately, while I was still in the patient room.
