“I have to start by saying that the baristas were excellent in making a delicious cookies and cream beverage for my daughter. I was amazed that they were able to get anything done with a smile in a cramped space infestated with wasps. I would give 10 stars for the drink itself, but... I would really appreciate a set up that is a bit more hygienic. A girl who made my daughter's drink held the cup, then picked up the trash from the floor and dumped it into the trash can, continued to prepare the drink, took a quick pause to fix her hair, then moved the trash container with her hands, squeezed the whipped cream, opened the jar with the cherries, reached in and grabbed a cherry with her fingers and set it on top on the whipped cream - all the actions were made with no interruption to sanitize her hands before handling any of the food items. In the end she grabbed the straw (that was not wrapped in paper) and inserted it into the cup. I don't blame the girl for one single bit, but I do blame the owner of the business. The girls need to be trained in food handling, they should wear some kind of covering on their hair, they should be given utensils to handle cherries and cookies that are used to top the beverages and should be provided with sanitizer and gloves. That being said, my daughter, who unfortunately is not as germophobic as me, thoroughly enjoyed her drink. And of course she took a picture that is included in this review.”

“This is a really unique experience. The food is fresh, local, and really thoughtful expression of the current season. You get to taste what is happening outside. The wine pairings were phenomenal, everything tasted great. Our table service was perfect, there was no detail omitted but the staff was unobtrusive. There are simply too many items to list that we ate, and there is no menu ordering so...let me say just go. Its a fantastic date or special occasion. Dress up! Everyone there is wearing a suit. Have a fun, delicious, fancy night out!”

“Loved, loved, LOVED this place! The gentleman and lady that served us were both spectacular and very good and making there rounds between what was a packed room. I really enjoyed getting to converse with both through out our visit. The wine was amazing as we tasted various whites and reds. Not sure what the deal was with puppies being in there with other customers but loved the fur babies too! If your a social butterfly I think you’ll love this atmosphere, so get over to Market Vineyards!”

“The first afternoon my husband and I went there for happy hour and got to enjoy Jordan as our bartender and server. She was super nice and very accommodating. The second night that we were there we went for our evening happy hour and got to experience the bartender Jordan and server Brendan who are equally amazing and so kind to myself and my little Morkie. I would definitely recommend getting their chicken sandwich, grilled cheese and tomato basil bisque.”

“ADDENDUM: The prices charged at the winery and on the Col Solare website are $35 to $25 MORE THAN WHAT YOU PAY at a liquor or wine store!!! This review is for the Col Solare Bottega within Chateau Ste. Michelle. The five stars are ostensibly for our server Kate, who was personable and knowledgeable about the Col Solare wines. I was once a wine manager for restaurants, and I can get rather obnoxious testing young people who “think they know about wine.” Kate handled my questions with aplomb and charm. Col Solare Bottega is a pretentious name for a glass enclosed space inside Chateau St. Michelle. The winery is very structured and organized, unlike the quintessential Woodinville experience. We had our table for one hour. When our time slot was over, it was time to get out! Unfortunately, we were 25 minutes late after the extensive check in process. Give yourself enough time to walk from the parking lot and get checked in. In our 35 minutes, we gulped down four great wines, purchased a few bottles, paid a lot of money and left. It wasn’t relaxed at all, and we wanted more time to enjoy and savor. Chateau Ste Michelle is gorgeous and well run. It is a wonderful experience for most tourists. We drove out from Seattle and just wanted to taste wine and have some fun. That is not what Chateau Ste Michelle is about. This is serious tourism.”
