“We selected Madrona House to move my mom closer to family because it was nearby. It proved to be a truly wonderful place in many other respects. Her apartment was cozy and she liked the food, but above all, she appreciated the very friendly and conscientious staff who genuinely cared about her. I always felt welcomed going there to visit and knew she was in good hands when I left. I would give Madrona House a five star endorsement as an assisted living facility. Stephen Shapiro”

“They did a good job with a complex move from Seattle to Bainbridge. The seattle house had limited parking space so we discussed and they brought two 16’ trucks which worked well. They were hard working and loaded everything quickly even with a long walkway (including stairs). I gave 4 stars because of the price (kind of expensive but maybe that’s because of the ferry fees/wait time …), but it was worth it and we would recommend them. They were very professional and responsive with scheduling.”

“We've been here for a few months, and guys, I love this school! It's part forest school, part play-based traditional preschool. They spend half the day outside in this huge, awesome, wooded space filled with many different imaginative play zones. Teacher Ellen is so accommodating to me. I'm a pretty high needs, anxious parent, and she is really involved in creating strategies and providing support for me and my son to get comfortable and grow. I get to stay in class everyday (most everyone else drops off) which is huge, and he isn't required to be potty trained. It is a co-op, so parents participate in running the place, but that's why it's so much cheaper! And it's really not bad - 2 days per month you help out in class. It's also such a sweet community where you actually get to meet and play with all the kids and get to know the other parents beyond just drop off. Anyway, totally recommend!”

“Mike Fisher is a true craftsman. Over the last two years Mike and his team have completed two major projects for us. One, an addition of a porch entry. Second, repair and replacement of our 900 square foot deck. On both projects, they were meticulous in their work. The porch entryway exceeded our expectations and is absolutely perfect. The deck was in desperate need of repair and Mike and the team dealt with a difficult situation and has provided us with a deck that will last for years to come. He and his team are respectful and a joy to work with. They are flexible and have shown an ability to overcome unexpected issues, which always arise when dealing with an existing home. Their attention to detail is second to none. They were always on time and did a great job of keeping us up to date. We could not recommend Mike Fisher Construction more.”

“Amazing property & the staff is such a pleasure to work with!!! All staff is so friendly and so helpful!!! I can’t say enough good things about the staff - they’re amazing!! Food is excellent and they are so accommodating of diets and allergies! Just ask!!! And all the desserts are phenomenal! This was my second time going to the property and it was wonderful!!! The property is filled with many hiking trails of all levels! They have access for paved ways, etc. It’s an amazing place conveniently located just a ferry ride away from seattle! Rooms are spacious and clean! No complaints- beds and pillows were fine.”
