We got in right before sunset so we didn't get to explore everything this park/area had to offer. We had a tent site right next to a pirate ship playground that my kids really enjoyed. The tent site we were in was pretty close to the water. They also had others that were more in the forest. The bathrooms were clean. I would recommend taking the ferry from Seattle and enjoying this park, it was a very fun experience.
Brand new pirate ship playground and sand volleyball pit. Seattle and sunset/rise views to die for plus Mt. Rainier on clear days. Stroll along the boardwalk or driftwood beach. Even has camping and a covered group picnic area if desired. A true island gem. Ample parking.
Good view and fabulous beach of skipping rocks, sand and logs to sit on or build a fort ! The wind was really blowing, but there was three kites up taking advantage... did not see campsites, but signs were organized to show where everything was... ...the sign to where you turn into the park comes up really fast even though it's quite large.
We are so fortunate to have this gem on Bainbridge Island. In any season, rain or shine, "Fay Bay" will remind you of why you love the Pacific Northwest. Driftwood forts on the beach, accessible boardwalks to take you from parking lot to shore, day/night camping opportunities, and a pirate ship play structure. Panoramic views north to Indianola, east to Seattle, and south to Mt. Rainier. It's incredible.
What an amazing find. This park is incredible. They have approximately 40 full hook up RV camping spots that cost $40 a night. One of the other nice things is that the campground area has 2 horseshoe pits and even horseshoes for guests to use, no need to bring your own! Bathrooms, picnic tables, and awesome Puget Sound views with plenty of beach access. For video of the park go to YouTube channel "Explore Your World Today".
