“From my experience, the staff are very friendly, willing to help, and the facility is always clean. I'm not sure why some people feel that it has gone down hill since being acquired by BI Parks and now technically being a rec center. Sure, as with any gym there will be some grouchy people and after school/work there will be a crowd, but these are things that you take to take into account when choosing your gym. Also, at this point, masks are optional. I see many people using them when around others or standing around in a general area but I have not heard of or seen any employees, "staring at the security cameras" as stated in someone else's review. As a wheelchair user it's been hard to find gyms with enough space and equipment for me to workout and these guys have both. There's plenty of machines and free weights that are great for body building as well as plenty of cardio equipment. The basketball court is currently closed for resurfacing but while they are doing that, they decided to install a ramp to access the building easier. This was not on their to-do list so soon but they truly take into account the people that come in and how they can best serve the community. They have been nothing but supportive and helpful and that always makes excited to go in.”

“My daughter loves going to class at Family Martial Arts. She says it is challenging, fun and provides great exercise. As a parent, I see that my daughter is more disciplined and focuses in class. I like that Sifu Rick is positive and encouraging towards the kids. He ties his lessons into real life, like listening the first time and cleaning up. He holds kids accountable for their behavior (in a kind and positive way). His classes are fast paced and keeps kids engaged. I have recommended Family Martial Arts to many of my friends. Great place!”
