A Quiet Place Park

Traffic is usually light or not at all so this park is appropriately called a quiet place. The Bigleaf Maple and evergreens are spectacular specimens to view along the short trail around this park. Clean and safe for all skill levels. There is a bench situated over a viewpoint on the edge of the Saltair Bluffs , no restrooms or picnic tables.

Oh my... such a surprise to walk this relatively small park. No views of water. Yet the forest is magnificent; full of huge trees and ferns galore. Saw two deer and no non-native plants. NOW, as you exit the SW corner.... Go only a few dozen steps and look for a trail opening across the street... Another trail!!! It is also wooded with a tiny creek and this trail goes and goes and goes....

Coming from Nebraska - this place is GORGEOUS. If you love ferns and beautiful tall mossy trees... it’s a BEAUTIFUL walk. So quiet and peaceful. 100% recommend for a quick break to enjoy some nature.

Nice and easy walk. No elevation changes unless you go off trail. Lovely scenery. Nice little loop for anyone to walk. Limited parking.

We appreciate the parents who donated this property in memory of their daughter. We go often and think of the family. We despise the morons who vandalize the signage associated with this serene wooded property.
