This museum is smaller, but packed with really awesome information about the Suquamish people. I would highly recommend it.
A perfect place to learn about the Suquamish culture, stories and peoples. There is a must check out gift shoppe. See the artifacts, read about the people. Watch a short sequence video which tells about the symbolic reverence of the animals and fish.
Great and moving experience. Parking is easy. They have map and information for Chief Seattle's grave site.
Small museum but very educational about the culture. Loved it.
Such an interesting, rich history. The language is beautiful and soft. The museum is lovely and the displays are written in English and Suquamish as best can be written since there was no written language originally.
