“Our daughter has attended Little Steps for almost three years. She has had the most caring and amazing teachers, and made some incredible friendships too! I’m always amazed by the knowledge she brings home. It started with baby yoga moves, then it was a mealtime prayer, letters, numbers, animal facts… and most recently, a few sign language motions. I’m so thankful for the love, care and teaching that has been poured into my daughter over the past (nearly) three years! We will miss the connections she has made as we move on to preschool.”

“This is a good school. There is that handful of teachers that really aren't helpful. But all in all the teachers there are kind and caring. I mean, its not like middle school is a piece a cake. There's a reason nobody makes movies called, "Middle School, the best years of my life." But this school is very involved in sports and helpful causes. If your having a hard time you can go to teachers or counselors for help. The bounds that you make at this school are very good, if you look for the right people. Just like in any other middle school, life's not perfect, there's always that one bad teacher, but if you find the right kind of friends, life will get a lot easier in the school. So ya, Its a really good school.”

“So first of all, I'm a student. Second, Almost all these three starers (exception of Ethan Hammel) are stupid. Let me start, This school is not the best, as why I'm not adding 5 stars. Anyway, it's not garbage either. The food is okay and so are most of the people. I talk a lot and so, I know a bit of people. Even the popular people are generally nice, (not always) but the kids who say they are mean just don't socialize enough to understand they aren't all jerks. The school has more good teacher than bad, and even the bad ones aren't horrible. People like Mrs. Hockmuth and Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Olmstead are great teachers, and while some are strict, you still learn something. Even though the curriculum sucks, it's getting better. Anyway, school needs to change the way they teach. The way they teach now is like when they taught people who were going to work in factories. Everybody has a personality, but that's the curriculum not the school. People also say we don't learn any outside world stuff, but they do teach us some economics and we have parents to teach us that as well. There is almost no bullying, and even if there is it's very small. Idk why people are always complaining about being bullied, because I know some introverts, and they seem quite happy at school. (This does not include things at home). Overall, the school as it is is good, and I have a large group of friends. The variety for electives is also great. I'd also like to talk about what someone said, "School doesn’t teach us anything about the real life and how to survive with a job, house, and your life with flexibility. NO. Instead we are filled with useless information about art we will never do again and math problems that only mathematicians will use and figure out." This is all wrong. We learn about economics in 8th grade, we don't have to take the art elective, and we take math to understand how to do the economics in the outside world. You are countering your own point. Anyway, 4/5 start, great school from 6th to 8th. Some snobs. Btw this is coming from an Asian so don't think white kids have it all. -ur boi Maurice”

“Craig is fantastic! He covers a wide range of genres, and incorporates music theory. I can't recommend him enough!”

“Highly recommended! This is more than a school. They treat you like family! Our two sons, age 4 & 5, have been under their academic care since they were 2 years old. We have always felt love and attention from Ms Cheryl and staff as well as a consistent behavioral and intellectual increase from both of our boys, each day, in every category! In fact our oldest, who still attends this wonderful school as a supplement to his Elementary School, has impressed his new teachers with the knowledge that he came equipt with. I am a Proud Momma and a thankful one, to all of the staff at Arletta Montessori for helping to foster a love for independent learning in two very different boys!!!”

“We love this school so much. We've had great teachers with all of our kids each year. The front desk staff is very friendly and always helpful. There are so many opportunities for parents to get involved and the school/PTA offer lots of fun family nights. We love the feeling of community at this school!”

“Both of my kids went here. The teachers were great and when we had to talk to the administration it was easy to access them. My only issue was my son has ADD and you would think they could have helped us with the process of getting on the various plans to help him.”

“I have had my children in this daycare and also worked there. It is very well ran considering how large it is. I have worked at 5 other centers in Washington state and comparatively speaking is why i give it 5 stars. Childcare is difficult for everyone. No one wants to leave their children all day. Children usually don't want to be left but the teachers here are very kind as is the owner. This center is very clean and healthy meals are served on time. There is also an abundance of things to do and they follow a schedule so the kids aren't sitting without any direction or nothing to do.”

“My youngest son went here, and the teachers were warm and friendly, the kids each got to design a drawing that are now part of a permanent art mural at the front of the school. When the principal at the time retired, the kids were very sad to see him go, as he was very involved and knew each of his students.”

“Hi. I love the sermons the Pastor gives to the congregation. He has so much heart behind his sermons. His sermons are interesting and very engaging and easy to learn from. I also like the amenities of this church and the kids program is extremely welcoming and people friendly. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants to learn from the sermon. Worship music is good too!”

“Overall a very good school. Big improvement with a new counselor they added a few years ago to replace a previously unhelpful one. Not great for my son with a 504 plan before that.”

“I went to Discovery for 4 years, K-3, but the principal was super nice, same as the librarian, and the school was great overall. The only problem I had was the counselor who clearly didn’t know what she was talking about.”

“This small school of the most devoted talented teachers and staff are not just teachers or doing a job for the paycheck kind of people. They are a support system for all students and families. They talk to the students know them and their families. They constantly remind us that they are here to help and show students their potential. They teach students and don't give up until they understand the lesson and work with them at their learning pace and style. They have. Brought out a side of my son I have never seen before and opened his eyes to see his own potential and excellence. They don't judge kids by how they look but by the potential they have in them. You will never find a better environment or skilled teachers than Henderson Bay High School. help them with daily life challenges as well”

“This is a wonderful school to send your kids to. The staff goes above and beyond in all aspects of education, safety, and building community. You can be assured that your children will be more than ready for middle school. I highly recommend this school to any family looking for a unique, special learning environment to send their children.”
