(April 20, 2023, 10:32 pm)emailed DPF Alternatives in Pacific, WA with questions about their process, specifically as it relates to my 2010 VW TDi Jetta Cup Car. Received a call from Kevin Sarapin. We discussed the scope of the DPF cleaning. Kevin asked several questions to determine if DPF was a good candidate for a successful cleaning. Due to fact that the tail pipe had just begun to exhibit soot deposits, Kevin explained that internally there was a high probability that the DPF internals were fractured therefore, not a good long term option. He offered to test the DPF at no cost, just to make sure.
A few hours later Kevin texted a link for a "new" OEM VW DPF at a value price along with the recommendation that this is the best option.
Ordered and received the new OEM DPF.
Called Kevin and thanked him for his professionalism and transparency.
While I didn't utilize DPF Alternatives, I can recommend Kevin Sarapin and DPF Alternatives - Pacific as a place to trust with your business!
(November 8, 2022, 10:01 am)Only place I know that'll have your filter truly clean the very next day of drop off. Dealer told me I need to buy a new filter for my Ford f250 but Kevin saved me a lot of money by servicing and refurbishing my filter. Definitely recommend
(September 19, 2021, 10:05 am)We had DPF code come up on a cross country trip. After unhappily dealing with multiple Ford dealerships, DPF Alternatives got us back on the road. The customer service was impeccable. Kevin thoroughly and patiently explained what would be done, and kept us imformed as they completed it. It has been 3 weeks, we have traveled another 1500 miles with no issues. 10 stars!
(January 22, 2020, 8:16 pm)I’m the owner of Jeremys Truck and trailer repair and I had two different customer bring me trucks that both had DPF issues and Cummins told them the only way too fix the issue was to replace the DPF filter and catalyst about 4000$ worth of parts. They didn’t trust them so they brought me the trucks and I removed both filters and had DPF alternative work there magic and came out perfect within spec! I installed the filters and both trucks are still running over A year in a half later!!! I’ve personally brought 10-15 filters in the last year and have never had a problem and the customer service from Kevin and Cory is top notch! I highly recommend only going to DPF alternative for your cleanings!!
(September 5, 2019, 7:19 pm)Had my truck at the dealer and was told i needed to replace my DPF because it had failed. They wanted and arm and a leg to replace my system so i looked for a different route to fix the problem and found DPF Alternatives. I spoke with Kevin and he gave me a run down of what they do to clean everything so it comes out looking new. I was given options to drop it off at their shop or mail it to them. I took the trip to the shop and it was very clean and professional. The turn around was amazing and my truck has been running strong ever since with no problems. I highly recommend them to anyone and my pocket book thanked me too.
