(August 24, 2022, 1:58 pm)Achten's did a fantastic job! I can't recommend them more highly. They tore off my old composite shingle roof, replaced it with a metal roof, and changed the attic ventilation method. Their office staff were always communicative. The roofers were careful with all of the plants that I have around my house. My yard was very well cleaned-up after each day of work. All workers were friendly and respectful the whole time. The roofers worked hard and took the time to do everything right, carefully, such as managing my old, brittle vinyl siding successfully. When they came back to add the attic venting, they even cleaned up my ancient insulation for me (in a hot, stuffy, dark attic) and were super careful to not to track any debris through my house. The roofing crew seemed to get along really well among themselves, too, which says a lot to me: they likely are treated well and enjoy their jobs, so do even better work for clients. Really, all-around, this was a great experience!
(August 10, 2022, 2:27 pm)I really had a great experience with Atchen's! Their bid was the best of the 3 I received (and the only one that listened to me and included a replacement skylight!). Gary included a ton of supporting material to help in the decision process and revised it when asked without delay! After contracting with them, they kept me well informed during the 4 weeks until job start. Once started it was fast, efficient and cleanly done. (I think I found only 2 nails they missed!) Good job! Follow up after the work was completed has been excellent. I'm also happy to report after today's big rainstorm, everything worked flawlessly! VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER!!!! 😀
(May 20, 2022, 4:32 pm)I had a very good experience with Achten's. They came recommended by another roofing company who didn't do the specialty work I needed. Achten's bid was very competitive, their salesperson was knowledgeable, experienced, and polite, and didn't exert the pressure that many other estimators did. Their operations manager and other office staff were responsive, polite, and fair, and the work crews did excellent work, going out of their way to make everything perfect before they left. I would hire them again and recommend them without reservation.
(February 10, 2022, 11:17 pm)We couldn't be happier with our new roof from Achten's. From the initial sales visit with Larry to the final install with their crew everything went about as smooth as one could ask for. The roofing crews were polite, professional and made it a point to clean up at the end of the day. They were quick to answer any questions we had. If you want a company that does a great job, stands by their products and have a fair price, compared to the 8 other quotes we got, you won't go wrong with Achtens. Also their seamless gutter sub contractor is top notch as well.
(November 3, 2021, 2:27 pm)Called three roofing companies to give us a bid on a new roof and Achten's was the only one to show up. Carl was great to work with, he's knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He was also very patient as we discussed and figured out which roof and color we wanted. We went out of town during the time the roof was replaced and pleasantly surprised when we came home and find the roof completed and the job site cleaned up. The new gutters and downspouts were installed a couple of days later and they did a great job. I'd recommend Achten's to anyone looking for a good roofing company.
