“Wonderful museum. Full of books and artifacts. The people there will gladly give a tour and guide you around any specific topics you may be interested in. If you enter the women's bathroom, you will find a suprise guest in the bath tub. XD Picked up several books (and a few comics) and checked out the "Clay Babies" display. These rare calcite concretions can only be found at the top of the island around the spit. It is illegal to take them from the spit or the private beaches without permission. Please respect a Pack it In - Pack it Out Policy and leave the area the way you found it. They are also trying to seed the beach with oysters and clams, please do not disturb these creatures and do not disturb the kelp lying around. The crabs and other creatures use it for protection. The cabin was locked, but we had a nice look from the outside. Great location for quick stop with great hosts. Will recommend to others.”

“Great experience. A wide range of well-maintained aircraft to explore. Great views of Mount Rainier, weather permitting, and you might even get to see some operational aircraft take off on the runway. The guys in the museum were fun, highly knowledgeable, and informative. Well worth a visit.”

“We didn't get to spend much time at Fort Nisqually so we'll definitely be visiting again. What we did experience was wonderful. It was a step back in time with beautiful scenery and a reminder of times both simpler and harder than our own. A great place to take kids to learn about history, especially if you are homeschooling.”

“My son and I had gone to the museum on a field trip for school. There was a lot of interesting and enlightening information about everything they had in there down to the saw that took two people to use that was 8 ft long approximately! Would definitely recommend others to go and learn a few things and maybe do a few things they hadn't before. My son and his class definitely had a great time learning about all the different jobs that they had back then around here.”

“This was our 1st visit to this museum. It was absolutely stunning to see the work!! There was some serious detail on a lot of the pieces.. I had no idea there were so many clever artists with glass. Lol the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The gift shop was great!! And the bridge outside is stunning and remarkable!! There are no other words for that for the detailed beautiful works at this museum. We will definitely be returning.”

“Beautiful park with historical significance - read signs along the walk to learn while enjoying the thoughtful layout, bridge, pagoda, and sculptures. Parking is somewhat hidden down a lane that runs parallel to Ruston Way, so don’t give up if you don’t find the lot right away.”

“My wife had little to distinguish, although she is very intelligent. One the hand, I recognized it as a distinguished historical proof of American ingenuity, determination and driving creativity. Astounding realization of events and developing crafts through the years, were spontaneously and well represented by friendly staff. I sensed the breadth of dedication of special people., This highly professionally designed museum, aimed to project and remind new and old folks how to protect and sustain our true and vulnerable heritage.”

“The Fife History Museum is a most pleasant look through Fife's history from its beginning as Gardenville. Artifacts such as clothing and cooking items through a school classroom really brought life to what could have been a very dry study. Many thanks to Pat Reed and company!”
