“My husband and I love Kyla’s vision! I met Kyla in my son’s apartment building. She had just remodeled their lobby spaces. She was explaining how the size and placement of the artwork she chose, worked with the textured wall she designed to bring the allusion of light into a windowless corridor. I was familiar with the before and after in that building. I was amazed to be looking at something so simple, yet so intriguing. She showed me her other installations. I knew that I needed her to come to my new home for a consultation. I’ve been a homeowner for a long time and have used an interior designer in my prior two houses. I had been convinced that there was no such thing as a dream home, only well-appointed homes in good locations. I thought we might get different results this time. I was correct. Kyla pushes me to leave my comfort zone, but not too much. I usually think about her suggestions; they grow on me, I try them, I love them! She has now helped me remodel and renovate every space in my home, except for three rarely used rooms. Kyla used a mix of very practical, semi-custom and custom concepts, all of which have been budget friendly. She kept our home’s architecture and exterior surroundings in mind. She worked around furnishings that I insisted on keeping. She’s incredibly instinctive and knowledgeable at the same time. Our updates are not even complete, yet my husband and I already feel we are creating a dream home. With Kyla’s help, our house has a soul. She’s such a pleasure to work with. I would hire her again and again!”

“It's hard to find the words to describe my experience with Gabi and Sadie. From the very beginning of my pregnancy, all I experienced was compassionate and transparent care. Through every step, I felt like I was respected, listened to, in control, and completely cared for. They are reassuring and kind, and never made me feel like I was overreacting when I was freaking out (which, by the way, I totally was, ha). They also treated my partner like he was important and listened to his questions/concerns as well, instead of just directing to me all the time, which I know meant a lot to him. My birth was an absolutely amazing experience, and so much of that is because I had midwives who were 100% on board with my birth plan, and who let me birth without dictating every detail of how it would go. They made sure baby and I were safe and gave suggestions and encouragement when they needed to. I was able to choose what positions to labor/push in which was so great. They were such a calming presence and we felt so reassured by their warmth and competence. Pregnancy, birth and postpartum is a wild journey. These are the midwives you want by your side for one of the most raw, life-changing, vulnerable, amazing experiences of your life. After not a good situation we found Taylormade Care and after my sister interviewed Tina it was a clear decision to have Mom be cared for there. Tina and her staff really care for, respect and enjoy the individuals in their home. Family is always welcome and they decorate and celebrate holidays and events. Most of all we felt Mom was safe 24/7 and treated very well. If you are looking for an adult home don't just drive by and make a decision. Stop and talk about your needs with Tina.
