“Great hike that’s not too far (from Everett), it’s fairly flat and has lots of beautiful old growth. It ends/loops around by the river which is a nice spot to picnic and enjoy a snack at before hiking back. There were others we passed on the trail but it was not at all busy.”

“I love the tight knit community and the fact that they contribute so much back to the community. The meat selection is great and prices are consistent with surrounding areas when you factor in the time it would take to go to the other stores especially. The deli department is amazing and always has a good selection of ready to eat foods as well as take and bake options. The only area of opportunity is the produce department. I regularly see moldy fruits and berries and have had the unfortunate experiences of items going bad the next day.”

“What started out as a roof repair, became a full roof replacement. We had just replaced our roof in the fall of 2012. JR took the time to explain his findings; explained what to expect with repair vs replacement; gave my husband and I time to discuss, and decide on what we wanted to do. JR was honest, fair, and did a phenomenal job. We could not be more pleased with the finished product and have recommended him multiple times already!”

“We had a complete remodel of 2 bathrooms, down to the studs and subfloor. All plumbing was totally redone for both bathrooms; a double vanity, single vanity, 2 toilets, a bathtub and walk-in shower. I didn't want to leave this review until the whole project was competed and I'm pleased to say everything works great!! Javier is a really nice guy, does great work, and his part of the job was completed on time and on budget!! I highly recommend him!!”

“My first visit to Lutheran Chapel on the Hill was warm and welcoming. The small congregation and Pastor made me feel at home right away. Pastor Heck gave a powerful sermon; we were served Communion and sang familiar hymns. The church itself is comfortable and quaint. Looking forward to becoming part of the community as I continue to visit.”

“I drive a really old beat up Honda that has required a lot of work to keep on the road. A starter, new plugs, new fuel filter, fuel pump, thermostat, radiator, radiator fan assembly, ECT sensor, new pulley for the power window... You get the idea. I'm not a mechanic. At best, I could be described as a grease monkey. The assistant manager Kenny has gone above and beyond in helping me to understand my cooling system, and to figure out the issues it has been having. He printed out technical diagrams for me, took the time to ensure I understood them, and saved me from spending time & money on things I didn't need. Above and beyond all the way. Thankyou Kenny!!!”

“Wow if you haven't visited the Mountain Loop Highway & it's off-roads (former logging roads) east of Verlot, you are in for an unbelievable treasure of undescribable beauty kept hidden yet any other State, Province, Country would demand it's preservation as a National Park. I know all the little secrets of this place of wonder & a lot of it's history & if you are freaked out by the scary looking mountain people keep in mind a GAY campground has been here over 20 years with no locals freaked out, so relax, fasten your seat belt because most roads here are in bad shape! So is the restroom at the Verlot Ranger Station now a public service center. The men's room is awful, but hey, it's worse in the big city, but... they have hot water & campgrounds with showers or skinny dipping in the rivers on a hot day. Nobody is going to call a cop, there's no cell service here, so relax, but be prepared to be your own cop if you want to exercise your 2nd Amendment. The biggest tourist trap are the ice caves at Big4 mountain, but I know a secret spot where you can drive a thousand feet above them and witness the entire valley below. A view that will stun you. My family first came here from Mercer Island in 1968. Talk about culture shock!I'm 57 now & God, I love this place. Snohomish Counties little secret. Oh forgot... I took these pics last weekend, March 2, 2018. Red Bridge... Google it. And... Center rings of a tree 700 years old, cut down to make coffee tables probably, but these are the first rings of it's life notice how friken colder it was here back then. That is at Verlot on display.”

“All About Blinds NW was the answer to an ongoing process of getting the cellular window blinds I wanted without compromising form, fit or function. I spoke with Twila, who set up an appointment for Sarah to meet with me to discuss my needs and wants for my window coverings. We had several windows to measure, but the challenge for most was a very large bay window. Everyone before Sarah seemed oblivious about how to tackle the large bay window in the living room. Sarah was unassuming. I was very impressed with her knowledge, competence and ability to delivery a solution so promptly. I trusted her honest approach. I was skeptical about the installation. Sarah reassured me the installer, Matthew, had many years experience and would provide expert installation. Indeed, Matthew did not disappoint. He was precise, fast and efficient. His expert installation made it all come together perfectly. Needless to say, I am very pleased with the results and very happy I chose All about Blinds. They were beyond my expectations. I highly recommend All About Blinds NW. I put my trust in Sarah, Twila, and Matthew. Together, they were successful in bringing this difficult task to fruition.”
