The people at this church will become an instant “family” to you, as they have been to me for the past 40 years. Faces & details change over time, but the welcome & comforting Spirit is always present….

We started attending Peace Lutheran when my son was in school there at Little Doves, I remember walking in the first Sunday feeling nervous because we were new and I just wasn't sure what it would be like here. Immediately we were welcomed at the front door with handshakes and "Welcome to Peace." We walked into the area where we sit and found a seat easily, and the others around us smiled and said welcome too. In my head I thought it would be everyone keeps to themselves, but this truly showed me this was a congregation that cared and welcomed new members. I never felt judged, I never feel like I have to dress a certain way, just come as I am. If you are looking for a church that is accepting, kind, welcoming, and strives to help and be active in our community this is the place. I feel at home at Peace, I feel as though we are a family and in just a few short years the impact I have seen this church make in the community and the members is extraordinary.
