I have had the pleasure of having two dogs swim with Vonni through Doggone Day Spaw. I started with Vonni in 2006 with my first dog, Joe. At first it was just for exercise but then he had a back injury and it became necessary. In 2014, Daisy started swimming with Vonni. Although she does not like swimming, she is always thrilled to see Vonni and now gets into the pool herself! Again it started as just fun, but Daisy soon started having some issues and I had xrays taken of Daisy's hips. The vet said she should not be walking but she does! I really think it is her twice a week swimming that keeps her walking. I am honestly not sure what I would do without Vonni - she is kind, extremely knowledgeable and has kept my dogs going. Vonni, I cannot thank you enough for your support of me AND my sweet dogs!!! You cannot go wrong with Vonni - plus it's fun!
Vonnie lovingly worked with our elderly chocolate lab for more than a year to assist in his comfort as his arthritis increasingly got worse with age. It was great therapy for Bear and we saw results in his mobility after sessions at the Spaw. I equally enjoyed my time chatting with Vonnie during these sessions. Great experience and worth your investigation.
Mimi rarely wants to be left alone with anyone but she happily trots off with Vonnie and doesn’t want to get out of the pool after an hour in the water! She’s looser and sooo relaxed after her sessions.
We sought Vonni's help when our 14 year old lab lost mobility and muscle tone in her back end. After a couple sessions, Tilly was going up the stairs more confidently - and faster! She turned into a puppy again and started zooming around the yard. Our Vet was right, Vonni works miracles:)
I am the proud steward of a beautiful golden retriever. He's a really big boy, not in weight but in size. As a senior I noticed that his hips were starting to bother him. I have him on supplements but opted to add water therapy. Had anyone told me that one treatment would have made such a difference, I would never have believed it. One hour of swimming with Vonni's
magic touch and he already is experiencing relief.. this is without a doubt the best thing I have ever done. She is an angel and I have seen how all her 4 legged friends love her as well. She is a blessing for those dogs who need relief without all the medication.
