“Not sure how we never stopped in here til now, but glad we did. Got a cup of hot tea, a slab loaf of focaccia and one of the crispest and tastiest croissants we have had in ages. Loved being able to do the tap and pay with credit card at the register, no fumbling with cash. Got the focaccia home and made some truly lovely sandwiches for lunch. “Very fun place, pretty good service, outside dining under cover was great. Huckleberry lemon fizz cocktail was very nice. The burgers!! Soooo good. The pizza was ok, staff said it was thin crust and cheesy but it was thick crust and not so cheesy so mostly bread. The grilled cheese sandwich was really really good. Melty cheese with fresh tomato, sourdough bread had a parmesan crust. Huckleberry vanilla swirl cone was ok. I expected much more of a Huckleberry flavor. Maybe once the huckleberries are ripe, there will be more huckleberry. The wait staff seemed a little annoyed, maybe they just had an off day or were coming off a busy rush or were short-handed. They were nice, though, and attentive. We will be back soon to have burgers and huckleberry shakes. Perfect meal after a hike through the Ape caves.”

“This is my favorite coffee stand of all time. The employees are welcoming, friendly, familiar, and full of PNW spirit. “If you thought small town warmth and hospitality no longer exist, you need to stop by Chimacum Cafe! The place was bustling when we arrived. But, we were immediately greeted by cheery staff and our waitress, Roxanne, could not have been friendlier or nicer! The restaurant had such a positive buzz to it, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. My husband ordered the Paul Bunyan special, a hamburger about 3x the size of a normal burger that he thoroughly enjoyed and took half home because he couldn't finish it! I ordered a garden burger that was so tasty! I had the Tollhouse pie for dessert, topped with ice cream thanks to input from Roxanne about this incredible taste combination. Wow! It was SO good - like a warm chocolate chip cookie with the chocolate on the verge of melting surrounded by a scrumptious crust and vanilla ice cream. It makes me happy just to relive that first bite...and all the rest! My husband loved his Marionberry pie. I'm so glad we decided to give this fantastic place a try. We will be back!”

(It is deeper and more complex that most Guats.) -I like to bathe in the deep butterscotch baths of their Costa Rica! (It’s the only one I have had that isn’t just flat and sweet.) -Do you enjoy the complex depths of Sumatra? I think theirs has all the richness and flavor, but not the variability. (They are the first I have ordered from, that I can expect the same from each bag. They're the only place locally I have found which makes a dairy-free slush-textured bubble tea, and I would highly recommend the taro flavor with tapioca pearls.
