I live in the neighborhood and haven't been one to be drawn to Starbucks for the sake of going to Starbucks, but I do enjoy coming here. I also appreciate the atmosphere - nice vibe. I have to say, at some point in the past several years, I think Starbucks changed the way they roast their coffee because it tastes much better now (no more the "burnt" over-roasted flavor). On their face, I agree with the reviews below it's a bit expensive for what you get, but it's completely understandable considering the costs of the location, and the Seattle food scene in general not being the cheapest. Most venues monopolizing such attraction-centric locations do the bare minimum above merely siphoning off the incessant flow of hungry visitors with no alternative.
