“Mark charged about the same rate as several other shops that quoted me however some of them did not use the full synthetic spec'd fluid yet charged same. When I asked if he would be taking the rear cover (diff change) apart he said "no". I was pleasantly surprised on pickup that he had. In addition he charged only an hour of shop time and did not charge me for the slip additive because it wasn't on the original quote he gave. I found him polite,honest, and hard working. “They boiled, pressure tested and flow tested the radiator for my old 340-powered Plymouth. Found a fissure in the top tank, repaired & re-tested. Very reasonable, so I pulled the radiator from an F350 I bought from a friend's dad's estate- it had sat in Oregon's cattle country for 2.5 years, so figured I would find an issue or 4. Jerry tested & told me to get a new, all-aluminum replacement version at Performance. Respecting his honestly, I just gave them my re-vamped Travco motor home radiator to boil out, flow & pressure test. They came through again, getting it clean inside & out, and it is in perfect shape now.”

“I echo other reviews here about Kylene and Ace RV. Incredible service!!! I called yesterday asking for help with a water heater pressure value that was pouring water out. She talked me through several troubleshooting ideas and essentially coached me through fixing it. Literally. I made at least 4 phone calls and exchanged texts with her when I bought the replacement part. She helped me after the install as things weren't quite right immediately. It is rare in this day and age to have someone be soooo responsive, helpful and patient. She literally could have just sent someone out and charged me a bunch of money but instead she did what few people would do - she listened and helped without any expectations. “I trust no other mechanic more than Chris. He has decades of experience as a mechanic, and works independently so you can be certain that the work done on your car is always consistent. His knowledge and skills as a mechanic surpass any I've had experience with. In fact, after getting my oil pump replaced at what most people consider the premiere mechanic shop in Vancouver, Bartosh Imports, I took it to Chris to swap in a turbo and he noticed that my timing was off and the control arm bolts weren't torqued to spec (causing a clunking noise). Chris is very friendly, genuine, and he won't give you the "runaround" like most mechanics do. If you wish, he will probably let you watch him perform the work on your car, so you can be absolutely certain that it's done right. The only fault I can think of is that he sometimes is pretty busy so it might be a week or two until he can take your car in, but it's always worth the wait. I won't let anyone else work on my car except myself. I am not endorsed or sponsored by Chris, despite the obviously rave review. Just a very happy customer :)”

The mechanics here explained that these kind of shops do a “mosquito” method of changing the oil where a straw sucks out the oil without replacing the filter, etc. My car seems to operate better and noticed that the oil stayed clean longer. They made sure to use OEM factory parts for my Hyundai Accent. There was a slight delay in the order of a bracket for the front headlight, and this was quickly communicated to me as well. “I found them competant and effective. I brought them a vehicle that needed a fuel pump and ended up with a fuel pump replacement, a tune up, hydraulic line flush, door window repair and new door locks. Although they kept finding things to fix and charge me for, I appreciated that everything they did do, improved the overall operation of my vehicle. I didn't get the feeling they were trying to screw me over. But for each item they had to fix they had to charge. They always called me and communicated well as to how much more they would need to have such repaired. Nothing is free or cheap for quality work. And i agreed to the work. It took them a month to get everything done, but my truck now runs better than when I bought it. I would recommend thier mechanical expertise. But know why you have your vehicle there and stick to a plan so you don't end up with a repair bill you can't afford.”
