“I went here all four years and I am now in college. As far as high schools go, BSHS was a much better experience than is usually expected from a public school. It wasn't perfect, but many of the usual horror stories of high school are not a big issue here. Physical fights are uncommon. The art programs are well-established and of good quality. I had many teachers who made a positive impact on me and that I still talk to today. The school produces a significant number of very academically successful students every year. School spirit and pride has been lacking, but gradually became better while I was there.”
