Piggly Wiggly (Cambridge)

A convenient local grocery store that carries all of the essentials. I’ve found that when their meat department runs a sale, it’s really a bargain and great quality. They also have a quick sale section with heavily discounted items that are nearing expiration. This can be handy if you’re going to have guests and everything will be consumed quickly.

Had a good selection of groceries. Higher priced then larger sized stores.

Watch the meat. Have had some of the best and had the worst too. Chicken tends to be frozen, thawed and refrozen again.

Look, it is a Piggly Wiggly in a town of ~1500. Do not expect a huge selection. Seem to hire local people (adult and teenagers) as staff and never had a bad experience. Service can be slower than in a higher traffic store, but I have never had it be terrible.

Unrelated note, Piggly Wiggly has great meat specials if you look often.
