(December 21, 2021, 8:09 pm)I'm lucky to have a potter for a father-in-law and luckier still to have one of his friends be Mark of Cambridge Wood-Fired Pottery. Before meeting Mark, his pieces always stood out in our cabinet. The glazes were richly colored and deep. You looked into them rather than at them. The brushwork was beautiful. Art you get to use every day. When I finally saw his full showroom, nothing disappointed. He has a great variety of shape, glaze, utility, everything. Wood fired pots are beautiful, and Mark has a unique mastery of the art. I can't recommend his work enough.
