A nice small park close to Madison.
No signs or parking, just wide should and trail going in to woods. Dont be discouraged. Amazing woods, meadows. It winding yo the cliff with far away views. Best is park at Ice Age National Trail Park in opposite site.
First time here and didn't even know it existed. Lots of hiking and afterwards hit the Ice Age Trail. Definitely worth a visit!
So glad I found this place! Closest “gorge” you can find to Madison and a very easy and scenic hike! The path follows the curvy ridge above Wilkie Gorge, with a handful of large rocky outcrops and boulders! Really underrated place, seems like a great spot to enjoy all seasons. Hiking loop takes less than an hour in this area.
