Excellent park to take an evening stroll. Well maintained.
Soo many baby rabbits. Zero mosquito bites. Nice place to take a walk.
A hidden treasure. Great place to hike. Often see deer, turkey, coyote's, many bird species.
The walking trails were well marked. This was my first hike, so a bit uncertain about terrain and distance of each trail. Encountered a few other hikers while at the conservation park, but generally very private and secluded. Loads of wild flowers, wildlife and tranquility to enjoy nestled in the neighbors of Madison, WI.
Owen is a beautiful oasis on the west side of Madison. Great for a quick hike or more leisurely nature escape. I have been coming here regularly for over 30 years after being introduced to the park as a child.
