“Best "year-round" park in the City. Splash pad, accessible playground, hiking, and disc-golf in the summer. Sledding, ice-skating, XC-skiing, snow-shoeing in the winter. The north and north-west end of the park behind the softball and soccer fields are great for a quick hike or to catch a sunset.”

“There is a new playground with swings, slides, and great monkey bars. Large flat grass area- enough for multiple soccer fields and edged along the backside with trees and a pond. Cross country skiing in the winter and if you catch the pond frozen before snow it’s a great place to ice skate!”

Encountered a few other hikers while at the conservation park, but generally very private and secluded. “Small boat landing tucked away on Lake Mendota Drive. It's directly across from the Spring Harbor Park restroom facilities. There's no major sign to help make it stand out and the main sign is tucked behind a batch of trees and shrubs. A permit is required to utilize the boat launch. The area overall is very small and is more suited to smaller water craft. Large conventional boats will struggle to get in and out of the water due to lack of space for manueverability.”
