South street motors is one of the best auto shops I’ve even been too! They figured out my problem within a day and fixed it! No more loud noises! And they’re so friendly and reasonable! I recommend them to anyone!
First time using South Street Motors and I'll definitely be returning! Even though they weren't able to help fix the issue due to computer issues they directed me in the right direction. Also, showed me a way to shut something off in my SUV that annoyed me. The communication was great the two days they had my vehicle. Rob was so nice to meet me after hours to meet up to get my keys. Also, learned being a UW health employee you get 15% discount. Thanks again!! Glad I found this little gem!!
It only took one repair, and they've already made me a life-long customer. My car was making an awful noise and the engine kept cutting out. They were close and had good ratings, and I didn't want to have it towed some place, so I gave them a shot. I could not have found a better auto shop. They were quick, unfailingly friendly, and clearly committed to fixing my car right. They even managed to fix a few minor things in addition AND get the bill under the quote with the same parts agreed on. I am kicking myself for not bringing my car to them years ago.
I can't even begin to describe how helpful this shop and Rob was for me. I have a 1984 fiero that was at FOUR different shops with all sorts of issues. Brakes. Suspension. Transmission failed. Etc. This car was a family heirloom that sat in a barn for years so rust was plentiful. Nobody could figure out (including 2 specialty shops) how to get this rusted trans off and replaced with a new one. (Rust consumed a majority of the bottom of the car).
Rob actually listened to me (first of 5 shops to do so) and found a way to replace the trans. Once the car got started the brakes that another shop did were poorly installed and a few parts needed replacing. He called the other shop and worked with them so I didn't have to, and he replaced them for me. And just charged me a little labor to do it all. Not to mention he offered me rides back to my house every time I had to drop the car off, without me even mentioning it.
Never again will I take my cars to another shop.
South Street has been my go-to for vehicle issues for many years. They have tackled pretty much any task I’ve thrown at them (replacing a clutch, installing aftermarket taillights, wiring in a flexfuel sensor, brake pads, oil change, engine work - you name it.)
Have had many aftermarket parts put on through this shop and have had decent customer service as well as speedy technicians too; And if south street isn’t comfortable with a repair, they have the information of other businesses that they work with that can help you out.
