“This area is a great asset to the neighborhood. Nice walking path through the relatively undisturbed woods. Relatively short hike from one end to the other, maybe 10-15 min. We were going the speed of a 3 year old so maybe you'd get through faster.”

“Nice place to walk among a varied woodland and what could be a beautiful piece of prairie. The forested segment of the trail here is hilly with an unusual variety of trees for the relatively small area. The upper portion of the trail currently circles a agricultural field that would be a real treasure if it was returned to prairie. From the high point of this section you can see from Blue Mounds to the Baraboo Bluffs.”

“By far one of the best dog parks I have been to anywhere. I take my dog here multiple times each week. With just one lap around the outside you can easily get a nice 45 min walk in. There’s enough variability so if your dog wants to play a bit, he can, but if he doesn’t that’s fine too. There’s also crossing trails that can help mix it up if you’re getting bored of the outer trail (my dog never seems to). I haven’t had a bad experience with the other dog owners, most people are just here to enjoy the walk!”

“This is a great place to catch a sunset and take a walk through the prairie. In the summer there are chickens to visit and it's always fun looking at the old farm equipment on the lawn. Once Covid breaks, this park hold great events for families like Heritage Fest and Halloween on the Farm. At Christmas, there's usually a holiday tea in the house that is always nice. The farmhouse has a working wood stove that is used to teach people how to cook the old fashioned way.”
